I was wondering since farming champions in the open world is often connected with toxic behaviors such as failing events on purpose or complaining to others because they have an other rotation, if fractals would be an alternative?
At the start of the uncategorized fractal are 3 champions which can be killed relatively fast, especially at level 1 difficulty. Solo players could even just keep farming the Champion Rabbit.
Lets say you could pull killing off all 3 champs every 3 minutes (including rerolling the fractal with people who have fast loading times), it would yield 60 champion boxes per hour.

I think the best instance for champion farming is SE p1, and the speedrun record for it is like 4 minutes, so if you dont kill Tazza you can farm the other bosses and champions in a pretty short time. I think the other instance with lots of bosses that are fast to kill is AC story.

Maybe its also good to take into account which champion bags they drop, because some drop more valuable exotics than others.
The ones in SE p1 drop exotic luxury bags, Ac story drops gilded chests (not always exotic),
The fractal instance I mentioned gives 1x Fallen Adventurer’s Backpack (Arthropoda, Cobalt, Crustacea, Lord Taeres’s Shadow, Stardust, Twin Talons, Scepter of the Highborn, Song of the Temptress, King’s Remembrance and Impaler), 1x Oversized Rucksack (Poyaqui’s Noggin, Mecha Anchor, Guild Defender) and 1x Elaborate Ritualist Bag (Razah’s Nightmare, Cobalt)

For comparison: Luxury chests drop Arc, Levvi’s Detector, X6-31 Beta, Mecha Anchor and Gilded Chests Crystal Guardian, Scepter of the Highborn, Shiverstone, Cobalt, Monsoon, Rockweed Spire, Combustion

Dulfy drops the Utility Backpack which only contains the special exotic “Twin Talons”. Not really worth farming imho.

Not all the Exotic bags share the same loot tables though, even if they have the same name. There are multiple versions of Deluxe Gear Boxes, for example. I suspect that Crustacea and Arthropoda can only drop from Fallen Adventurer Backpacks that were looted from Champion Karkas (hence why they’re so expensive compared to the other Exotics. Few people bother killing the Champion Karkas on Southsun).

I know that Dulfy says that Crustacea and Arthropda can drop from Slime-Covered Lootboxes, but I don’t know if this is verified or not. I CAN confirm that the karka bows drop from the Fallen Adventurer Backpacks from Champ karkas, because I got Crustacea myself from one of the Backpacks that I looted from the Karka Queen.

You might have a point there. I often wondered why sometimes chests of the same name and quality do not stack, but its hard to test your hypothesis since the droprate of these exotics is so low.
