Hi,
Which path do you recommend me for a first time?
Also, if you would have to "carry "me, which class would you like me to use?

I guess, p3 and warrior?

I’d actually go with p1 or p2. Yeah, warrior is the easiest class to survive it, so you may want to pick that one.

Warrior, you bring banners, and I’ll carry you. Otherwise, ranger, frost spirit and spotter and sword/greatsword.

Warrior does have a lot of tools for trash skips, which is actually where I think most people get tripped up. It’s… surprising to me how many people have never tried rushing/leaping past mobs with autotarget turned off.

I recommend P3, but regardless of what path you choose, it really comes down to how well informed you are about the run ahead of time. Watch some youtube vids. Let us know what path you choose so that some of the finer tips can be posted here by our local dungeon experts.

p1 has easy fights and punishing skips

p3 has punishing fights and punishing skips
p4 has easy fights and easy-ish skips

p1 is probably the safest to pick – it’s not like p2 where theres basically three points between belka and abomination where you can just be insta-killed (spiders, deadeye before tunnel, deadeye after tunnel), p1 has a rough skip to entities but you actually have room for error

I’d go with either P3 or P1, and try to make sure you have at least one person who knows what they’re doing.

This is all true and I agree with it, but it definitely needs to be mentioned that P4 will be considerably longer than the first three paths… at least for the average person.

This advice will apply to all paths: make sure that you’re aware of the fact that in the room before the Giganticus Lupicus encounter, you need to hug the left wall as much as possible to ensure you don’t aggro any trash mobs. I can’t even remember the last time I did any pug Arah path without at least one person dying there due to being clueless and p*ssing off various elite risen. If you do, the last thing you ever want to do is pull it over to your party and have them suffer the consequence of your actions.

i think p3 skips are a lot easier than p1/2 skips on a warrior, since you can just shield block through the chokepoint of risen. doesn’t require much thinking, just a bit of extra condition removal, and that first skip after hunter/crusher is the only remotely challenging skip in p3 anyway.

on the other hand, p2 has 2 really tough skips for new players (although the end skip gets easier if you die a few times and there are fewer technicians). p1 also has 2 pretty tough skips and ooze is kind of a pain in the kitten if it doesn’t go cleanly.

most people dont switch weapons in dungeons so they wont be shield blocking

its not entirely uncommon that ive run the skip and soloed magecrusher because nobody else was able to do it
