I wanted to do arah exp, I figured i wanted the armor since it was nice. But arah is next to impossible. The paths are difficult and way to long. And they are glitchy. I did path one for 3 hours, since my team kept getting owned. And at the end, the npc got glitched while we were killing the stargazer so the dungeon never finished. Oh and korga spawning over 15 gorrilaz in like 4 minutes, really? And the worst part they weren’t musical. I want that armor. But only being able to do 2 paths out of 4 since the other two are to difficult and glitchy. Is quite frustrating. Game has bin out for a while now, Anet. FIX ARAH! At least the glitches kitten If I have to crawl threw hell so be it, Can I at least crawl threw hell and not get kittened over at the end because of a stupid npc.

Not mentioning the completition bug, now you know why arah armors are rare, and who wear a complete set ( not exploited) is a worthy one. Master the entire arah content is not something for everyone, nor a random pug of DE zergs.

At least fix the gltiches.

You keep saying like arah is difficult dungeon. I’ve been taking 4 firsttimers a lot of times and it wasn’t exactly superhard.

Arah needs a lot of fixes. Path 1 lacks waypoint after tar boss (which somehow spawns during path 3), buggy npc during last boss. You can glitch alphard in path 2 for faceroll fight and you might not get credits for path 2 similiar to path 1 (last boss won’t turn to be enemy). Path 3 doesn’t have many bugs. Path 4 – buggy aggro of sparks. Problem with the last boss as well.

Surely you’ll agree 5 first timers will have a whole different experience than 1 DM and 4 first timers who never did those annoying bosses.

Because Arah is a badly implemented dungeon with more bugs than shards of Zhaitan.

Well, when i completed my set, no bugs was online. Nor exploits was popular, nor skipall runs, nor WP zergfights. And no 60 tokens at completition at all.
Yep, for the typical pug is hard/undoable, most are a fail, quitting at lupicus even today we have so many guides and videos. Some, just cannot kill him, some beat him carried, dead yet with armor broken and rezzed, going to repair and back to continue.
Ye, not something for a DE zerg, nor a newbie. Needs practice, calm, it’s an uber fun place. Ye, not so hard repeating it. If you do it constantly and you learn a bit how the game works, mechanics, dodge, etc on general dungeon pve.
No doubt recent patches made arah unplayable.

Actually the monkey boss doesnt spawn gorillas he resses gorillas within an aoe radius all corpses so you either gotta keep him stunned or pull him away from the corpses

Either you have extremely good luck with first timers, or I have extremely bad luck: every time I bring newbies, it’s 3 hours of death that lead to the newbies getting frustrated and leaving the group.

After, like, 5 or 6 attempts, I’ve given up and don’t go to Arah unless all the group knows what they are getting themselves into. As a result, I don’t run Arah anymore, because it seems experienced people are now doing something else.

Really! I’ve spent the past 2 weeks trying to form a decent group, and with no success…. i was about to quit the game when I decided to create an alt and found some life again… but something needs to be done to get people into Arah again.

If you have problems with lupicus, because I assume that would be difficult part for firsttimers, you just need 1 experienced person who will get most of the aggro. And for some reason, I’m usually that person (on different proffesions with different toughness/damage/whatever aggro mechanics).

Yes, I’ve been that person, but the moment Lupicus fixes on me, it’s shadowstep, red circles everywhere, zigzag mocus, and by the second shadowstep, if I am still alive, I have no energy left. Then I pop death shroud, and survive for a bit till he knocks me down, and sorrounds me with areas and mocus…. I really don’t know how to survive after that…

By the way, the newbies are dead by this time, as it seems they have a VERY hard time avoiding areas (and lupi areas are specially hard, as they are smaller than the red circle implies).

The last time, we even brought one guy who kept dying on phase 3, even with a guardian kiting the boss in circles across the room! in the end, I didn’t even bother to res him…
