We just wanted to prove that it’s possible to replace a thief in all dungeons. Stealth mechanics do not only belong to thief but to 2 other classes as well. We felt that many people are so stuck on thief being the “Be all, Stealth all” class. We decided to show that an Engi can replace a thief and the paths can still be done “as efficiently as possible”.

Not a world record time, and there’s also some small things that could be improved, but over all really decent for the fact that you’re not using the usual “meta” team comp.
Mesmer and engi being able to replace guard and thief, and even being more efficient in some places is something that most speedrunners already know for ages, but most pugs cant seem to let go of the standard 2 ele 1 war 1 thief 1 guard team comp.
Lets hope videos like these improve the acceptance of “non meta classes” :P

Really nice. Hope it shows people that other class are pretty decent too.

Wish someone could make 5 necro run video with decent time to show people they are not that terrible.
