Keep seeing people complaining about the twins. My advice is to…

Throw ’dem rocks!

Seriously, I stunlocked the chick by throwing a constant stream of boulders at her. Now I did this in the first week, so things may have changed…but if it still works, just have 1-2 people stunlock the guy or gal and the rest kill the other off.

That is good advice. It’s too bad the game doesn’t really hint at this.

It still works. Before you even fight them, choose which you will burn down and which you will stunlock. Be careful of their “port to each other” skill. If you have a Mesmer in the group, get them to use the projectile bubble on the burn target.

Ah but it (somewhat) does! Why else would there be 10 or so random boulders laying around in one room?

Well, there might not be 10…me and another guy carried a couple from the previous room into there too lol.

I tried it but for some reason my team kept dying.

Either the team was horribad or something is wrong with the boss where sometimes teams can cream them and other times fail.

I’ve been on both success and fail runs, but we’ve used the same tactics. Maybe the team was just bad?

I did it another way. Ran in face-first by myself and threw a boulder+bolas at the guy to get him away from the other boss, then had every else in the group dive onto him and just kept the lady’s attention the entire time with my longbow, easily sidestepping her slow lightning ball projectiles and dodging her targeted lightning bolt.

I did go down, but by the time I did, the rest of my group had already torn the other boss to pieces and easily got me back up to finish the fight.

The encounter is actually stoning her to death…Like when i did this (day 2 of release) We literally brought rocks from other rooms to kill her… and the final boss too(I mean we had like 15 rocks)

I usually just tag him with a boulder and kite with my guard while the others burn her down.

Occasionally I’ll lose him, not often.

Dem Rocks Are Furniture?

you dont have to use the rocks but i think its awesome that Anet wants us to think outside the box!

even with the rocks, they still occasionally hits you, which adds up over a long fight. Have at least a couple people tossing out regen/shields/blinds/protection etc. The dude’s minions put up confusion iirc, and her lightning crap are especially bad.

but yes, the rocks are key to this fight
