At current the reset time for raids is unhealthy for the community, it limits a majority of players by their respective timezone even among their own guilds to do raiding due to real life responsibility’s IE jobs etc.
Whenever I discuss the current raid reset time with people in game or ask why someone cannot come to a raid during a given day the reason is often the same. Work, or some other rl matter they must attend to on a week day. This results in very poor turn out for many and less successful runs in raids over the course of the weekend due to most already clearing bosses earlier in the week within their respective time zones within limit hours they have to game and do raiding while those of us who prefer weekend raids or simply cannot raid during the week end up having less fun and less turn out among our guild members or even pugs off the lfg to fill everything needed to make successful attempts.
Many people I’ve spoken to in game agree that this is a problem for them either getting a successful raid run or even getting a raid at all for the boss or wing they want due to the early week raid clears at times they couldn’t be on which results in smaller weekend raid turn-outs due to most raiders being shard capped by this point in the week which results in a lack of interest to raid further until after the next reset.
It is highly agreed on that the reset time for raids would be better suited to either Thursday or Friday as this would promote more raiders attempt their runs on the weekend where time-zones are less restrictive and rl matters are fewer due to the nature of less responsibility’s to tie up their schedules.
If the raid time was moved from it’ currents late Sunday night/ early Monday morning (depending on your respective time-zone.) to a more weekend friendly one such as Thursday or Friday it would allow more people to raid together at a wider array of times compared too the current due of how restricting weekdays already are.

I disagree, raid reset on monday’s perfectly fine
It’s an MMO game, not everything is going to be tailored for you, just because you have “RL responsobilities, job etc”
I do as well, my guildiess do as well, i have a girl who works at a call center as IT help desk with kittenty shifts, and she manages as well.
Besides, apart from that the Thursday / Friday lockdown would completely kitten all the guilds who raid on Tuesday & Thursday, who’re the ACTUAL majority, unlike your bunch of misguided folks.

This came up in a thread in the past and someone from anet responded basically saying that they intentionally put the reset at a time where very few people were doing raids. The reasoning is that if reset is during primetime then some groups will have their raids interrupted, or will have to wait until a certain time during primetime to begin. It makes sense for people that raid more casually, though for veteran raiders who get their clears early it ranges from “irrelevant” to “mild pain in the kitten ”.
Of course the irony is that so many people want to go right after reset that Monday 12:30am PST is now an extremely popular time to raid despite intentionally being chosen to be inconvenient.
My preference would be to keep the reset at the same time (or maybe 1-2 hours earlier) but shift it back a day to saturday night/sunday morning. That way there is time to raid both before and after the reset in a single weekend.

I raid pretty much exclusively within my guild, but my understanding is that for pug groups it is much easier to find a group with good players immediately after reset. So it really isn’t about guild groups like yours and mine that have a schedule. Regardless, I don’t see why you’re getting so up in arms about something that is really fairly inconsequential; it isn’t like OP is asking for free items or easier content or something. Saying he wants content tailored for him seems like a gross exaggeration, and he’s not wrong in suggesting that many other players (myself included) would rather the reset be at a different time.

Raid reset is at 1:30 am on Monday for me so i have moved my sleeping to Sunday day and stay up all night to raid at reset and hope to clear all 3 wings. (which normal happens) and just push thru the Monday at work lol. My suggestion would be to tailor you life to better fit it as its not going to change just cuz a few want it to. But cant wait for daylight saving to hit raids for me start 12:30 am so an hour sooner lol.
