So we got to the Asura boss in the end. I know they changed his agony lighting balls to a straight line but it made it much harder because
1. Agony hits much faster cuz distance in straight line is much shorter than in arc, therefore needing quicker reactions to dodge. Not sure can u see the red circle if u r tagged. Haven’t checked that.
2. The only way to keep Asura at bay is the run and kite around the pillar. Since there is no way to cc the Asura boss, that is the one of the ways u can do it if u don’t have enough reflect/nullify projectile class in ur party.
3. Why does mr mittens always keep trying to go for the 1st person that aggros the boss. We had to cc him when he is active so he won’t go and pull on the pillar kiting person.
4. Sometimes when kiting around the pillar boss resets in different circumstances (kiter dies, out of distance, etc). Need a fix for that.
5. Even if u beat it sometimes if Asura is too far out he resets, therefore having to redo the boss fightall over again. Have to make sure Asura comes back in vicinity in order for the cutscene and fractal to finish.

  1. If you have reflect skills, It is now easier to reflect the asura attack. It is more visible to dodge. As a focus + glamour mesmer, I was able to reflect over half the projectiles easily.
  2. they should fix boss encounters since reflect projectiles became too important for this dungeon and defiant + stability are class filers
  3. i think the asura attack the closest person to him now
  4. and #5 is annoying
