Hi everyone.
After a long hiatus I decided to give fractals another shot. My AR is at 70 so in theory I can do everything up to and including 50. Problem is, from what I’ve read, the weapon droprate after the fractal update was significantly reduced.

Is that true? If so, is there some kind of spreadsheet that includes droprates?
Lastly, is the dropchance the same for all levels in one category, i.e. 31-40, 41-50
or does it incease inside the brackets?

You chances of getting a fractal skin at 50 is about 10%.

Is that as high for all of the 41-50 bracket or does it increase with the level?

Yes, the fractured patch nerfed the drop rate. Everyone was asking for a way to make things less RNG while still making the weapons hard to get. Instead they made things more RNG and made the weapons harder to get.

Prepatch rate was like 1 in 4 or 1 in three if I remember right. So they nerfed it big time.

If you enjoy Fractals I’d highly recommend doing 50 and 40 daily, due to their overall higher chance and not too trouble-some Instability, especially if you pug (overall you expect people around that level to have a basic understanding.)

But if you dislike Fractals, just pick a different skin to aim for. 10-11% is still a small chance, with a chance for doubles / unwanted skin.

You are saying 40 and 50. Does that mean reward tiers start at x0? I was under the impression that 31-40 was one tier and 41-50 was another. Wouldn’t it be easier to do 31 and 41 then?

The droprates were recently fixed in a patch and are far better than they were right after Fractured. Before that patch the droprates at 50 were abysmal.

Reward tiers are just as you say, 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50.
There could be a difference in droprate between levels in the same tier, say lvl 31 and 40. However, this is unlikely and even if so is the case the difference should be miniscule.

Assume this is the case and you’re looking to do a tier 4 fractal run (lvl 31-40), you’d be losing out if you didn’t do the lvl 40, the highest lvl in that tier.

Not to mention lvl 40 and lvl 50 has nice instabilities

I feel your pain. The fact that we actually have a fractal box ingame that prevents exactly that but only drops from 51+ feels like a real slap in the face :/

Pretty much that, more Relics, super easy Instabilities and the difference is really minimal in how much more difficult it really is (for meta-players.) Tonic is also only level 50? (49?)

and I feel for the person still needing just the dagger. ._.

In last two weeks I got 6 skins from level 50. Sadly only one I haven’t before. I’m doing lvl 50 daily for 5 months now, and in these 5 months I got 8 skins. So for me the drop was increased ^^ .
