What drops you get are usually not the ones you want. Instead of having to salvage them, why couldn’t you sell them back for 1/2 or 3/4 of their Pristine Fractal sale price? That way you could potentially “exchange” them for an increased price.

There are already other sources of ascended rings, accessories, and amulets.

I would like to see Ascended amulets drop from Fractals, actually. It’s the one and only Ascended component that you can’t obtain from playing Fractals alone.

You can get your Zerk’s amulet from just waiting and buying with laurels, though.
