If they got rid of all path specific RNG then it could simply track your best times on each level.

If not, I guess they will just track the amount you have done them…

If I were to make them, I’d put up the first group to do them, Fastest time, and Most done.

Of course the first would never change, but it’d be cool to see who hit level 100 first for example. Fastest would of course increase over time. And most done would change as well, while regularly done ones wouldn’t be impressive the especially kittenes would be cool, who was willing to challenge themselves the most.

I think the ones to hit level 100 first are just the one going to do 50 fractals in a row at the launch of the expansion. So it may be hard at some point but not sure they are gonna be the best players. Exept if the level get really hard going close to level 100.

The hardest IMO will be the underwater fractal if we are forced to do it, since we hardly do it, and are not full stuff (until we get this ascended undewater head piece)

UW is braindead easy and takes only few min longer than swamp. And UW dps is pretty out of whack for some classes and jellyfish doesn’t have any real threatening mechanics to it.

I’m hoping for leaderboards in GW1 style, based on performance with a weekly reset and a (small) reward for the players on top.

Looking at this forum I wouldn’t be surprised they would go with record times for each level. And then perhaps total amount of time taken for all fractals combined. Meaning skipping levels would make your ranking on it lower because you haven’t done all levels.

I’m expecting a similar leader-board feature as the elite missions did in Guild Wars (1), best times weekly, monthly and yearly/all time. Perhaps rewards for the fastest team in that week for each scale?

It’ll be the same as adventures and we’ll see those in the first BWE next week. Hopefully they’re ingame which would mean PvP will finally get their ingame LB’s too.
