Fractal Loot Change.
I did feel like my Maw chests had a lower number of items than before, but shrugged it off with my general bad loot luck. I usually got 5-6 blues and greens from that chest before patch at worst (on top of possible cores/lodestones). Both of my dailys yesterday (26 and 30) gave only 3 items.

Even to bosses before Maw, i usually get 1-2 rare per chest, done 2-3 full runs and i havent gotten a single rare outside of mob drops. Just want to make sure it isnt only me.
i have gotten the reduced number of drops from a maw chest before, pre-patch though. it is kinda rare but it has happened before.
as post-patch
i got like 3-4 assorted cores/lodestones total + drops (Awsome) from a level 4 daily run, and then all greens from a level 10 daily run after :p
I always get full runs without rares from chests, that includes cores/lodestones as rares. My luck is always terrible. My guess is you just had one of my normal days.

Most of the rares I got were from trash. Always been that way for me.
This feels significant though, i understand a bad run, where i end up with 0-3 rares, but ive always ended up with something. Im just looking for an answer for if it was actually nerfed or not.
id have to lean towards no it wasnt although others are welcome to state their finds.
theres always been a bunch of times actually, where i get either all greens (literally all end chests + maw) or like barley any 1-2 rares max. other times the maw chest seemed to drop less items, and they were bad either way. pretty sure its just RNG being random again as my post-patch fractals seem the same.

3 runs in 2 days isnt too often, i used to do 10-15 runs a day easily.
I’ve gotten more trash drops, less chest drops. Chalking this one down to RNG for now. Either way I’ve gotten more rares per run now than I did pre-patch, so I’m not complaining.

Dragon chests have a DR. I wouldn’t put it pass ANet to put a DR on FotM chests. They are quite lucrative at high levels, some easily farmable.
Yea I noticed that since that patch, wasn’t sure if it was bad luck or a nerf.
Only done 2 dailies per day also, so not like I’m farming it or anything.

I don’t feel that there is a DR unless it was ninja’d in. I do feel that the drops from jade maw chests have been nerfed considering I only do 2 runs of jade maw a day with Strife.
Well i have the same “issue” jade maw chest and only blues and greens its the first time since i started fractals and belive me i did +50 times fractals and never got crap loot from the final chest NEVER.
Everything have DR in the game now!?

Well they initially stated FoTM has zero DR whatsoever. But lately I’ve noticed the drops gets worse and worse. If anything they just nerfed the loot tables.
I’ve noticed this as well, thought its just me having bad luck. Normally i get like ~5 rares on a run of 3 fractal + maw. yesterday I got one at maw and absolutely garbage on all others. someone in my group said he got a wooden chest containing a rag (salvage item)

The same way we are capped at 39 right now. No announcement.
Looks like my only choice for making reasonable amounts of money now is going back to CoF Path 1 farming. How fun.
Id love an ANet response on this, it seems im not the only person effected and if it was an intentional change we should have heard about it.
I just resurrected an old thread about this before not having seen this one. I do 4 lvl 20 fractal dailys a day with 4 different alts and before the patch was averaging 3-5 rares per run. I have now done about 7 lvl 20+ runs since then and have not gotten any rares at all. One of the great things about fractals was all those rares and they had to go and ruin it. I can’t wait for elder scrolls mmo to come out. (go aheard and troll fan boys) They should be doing things to get more people to play not pointlessly nerfing what made fractals alluring. In all honesty, I LOVE GW2 but I have never in my life since this game came out seen a company that consistently does dumb things that make people angry. Company must be run by oh never mind I already started a flame war. Actually a net started it. Thanks for nothing.
