Since when does this boss now reflect projectiles and stun you?

Since forever. >_>;

The reflect happens when he starts spinning, I do believe. I don’t recall off the top of my head where stun happens… Was it if you get too close to the orbs that shoot white light downwards?

I’ve done the event many times and only recently noticed the reflect hitting me. I’eve even had to solo it many times because of pugs failing, and was able to do it with ease (Ranger) by keeping my pet on him, and just moving etc. But now it’s nearly impossible to solo if needed because of the sheer damage taken!

I get downed from damage, like reflection, stun etc. I know to avoid things, and I recall that there were NO orbs near or around me the last time I was stunned. He was hitting me with the laser beam, so I was running, I dodged to reduce damage and BAM! 5 sec stun :\ dead.

Did you move to a new tier? I don’t recall if he has less effects at lower tier.

I still feel like I don’t really understand this boss’s mechanics well enough. I’ve solod him twice and didn’t get cced at all, just crippled a lot. I don’t recall ever being cced from him aside from when bumping into the center inadvertently.

this boss and Nokk from se p1 are the only bosses i know that i have problem figuring out their attacks mechanic :d

Yeah, I haven’t figured out which attack it is that causes you to get launched for about 2 – 3 seconds. (And if you’re unlucky, you’ll land on a tile that’s about to be destroyed and fall to your death.) It happens only rarely, and I’ve only seen it happen in his last two phases.

Kirin is right about the reflect occurring when he spins, but he doesn’t spin for very long, so it’s usually a non-issue.
