I am unable to put my current rings into the forge to infuse them

It seems you can only put basic rings into the forge, not infused ones

I managed to attune my infused rings like 2 hours ago.

I am also unable to attune certain of my rings but the only thing they all have in common is it that they are old +5 infused runes from the old mystic forge recipe. “Newer” rings don’t seem to have that problem

Pre-Fractured rings can’t be attuned for reasons probably no one knows.

Was this shut down to raise the price of upgrading the agony infusions or was that an unintended side effect?

The patch notes mention that the higher price is intended.

Thanks Novaan, I missed those notes! I thought it was nice that the mastery gave you a discount but I guess not. Oh well.
