Outside of your AR, you cannot find any information about fractals outside of them. What is my Fractal Level? What fractals have I done? What fractals can I do (you have to go online and look up the AR levels)? What are the daily fractals (you can find this several levels deep in the H menu, but it’s nowhere near as nice as the PVE dailies). Not to mention even when they are up, the fractal daily list is less than illuminating unless you have memorized the arrangement. Can we please get some provisions for making fractal information more transparent and accessible?

Its tedious but you can check which fractals you have done by going through the fractal achievements for completing all 100 fractals. I’m not sure why you need to know your fractal level really, but outside of going into the main area you can get a rough idea by opening the LFG and going to fractals. It will at least tell you what tier you are in. Again, not convenient and not super informational but if you don’t want to go to LA and enter the fractal place its the best you can do right now.

For daily fractals, I use the search field:

  • “Tier 4” shows just the three fractals my team is likely to do. Choose “Tier 1” if you’re new etc.
  • “Scale” will just display the other two dailies, although it would be nice if it also included the name of the instance.

I agree that it would be nice to show your fractal level in the [h]ero panel, but I’d prefer for ANet to work on other UI improvements that don’t have good work-arounds.

For which level is which instance, I rely on the wiki. (There are plenty of things for which the wiki or other fan sites are better than in-game resources, and often not because the in-game help is bad, but because it’s possible for an external website to cover things better and in more detail.)

Hey there,

Here’s some tips:

1. You can see your “exact” fractal level by going into the “Fractals main area”
2. You can see which fractals you have done by going to the Fractals tab in your Hero Panel and checking out the achievements of the 4 available tiers.
3. You can see the fractals you are able to do (from 1-your personal level) by going to the console where you select which fractal you want to do (shows you your personal fractal level as well btw).
4. I agree it’s tricky to remember which scale a given fractal is at when it pops but basically if you want to do a t4 molten duo for example you know it’s within the 76-100 range (hint from LFG) and then check the console for which scale the desired fractal is at.
5. As far as AR levels, when you select a fractal scale from the console the top right menu shows you how much AR you need and you can also go into the “testing area” to see if you have enough AR (without even needing to open your hero panel).

Most of this information is available “within” the fractals main area ^^

As for the “what fractals can I run with my AR”; ideally, you upgraded your AR as you played your way through all the scales in order, but that’s a long lost way of progressing through fractals…

The LFG shows your personal reward level.

Achievements show which you have done.

Gong into the the starting hub under the fractal level will show you the AR needed.

Everything is fairly easy to understand.
