Fractal loot nerfed?
Well you get 0 rares in normal dungeons so it’s all relative.
Yeah but when you speak of normal dungeon its like AC explo, takes like 20 minutes… Some fractals can take like 2h depending of the group

you get tokens so you get exotic…
fractal loot is becoming something really bad considering 90% exotic you drops (and happens really seldom) are account bound and without sigils.
And dungeons are faster (and easier) than fractals usually.
GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

Completly given up on fractals myself, I do in no way feel rewarded for the time or effort it takes to do them.. have had multiple runs without a single rare drop at 20+

Yep. I got 3 rare out of 2 runs last night. One guy got 2 Exotics, numerous rares and a fractal skin from 1 run. RNG.
I’ve never received more than 1 exotic per run and still haven’t got a fractal skin, but I have runs with good luck as well. Twice I’ve gotten Exotics with a Sigil of Bloodlust, not to mention many other Exotics and enough rings to outfit an army of alts.
That happened before but since the update i have made frac like 30 times and i used to have a lot more of rare before the update i know that is RNG but do i am the only one getting bad loot since the update?

You’re likely just having a bad string of luck. The Devs don’t make ‘Stealth Nerfs’ apparently, so if there was a nerf to the loot, it would be in the patch notes.
maybe it’s just me, but it feels like u were being flagged for a certain loot table when you started the dungeon.
What happened to me is like this:
If I’m getting crappy blue/green in the first fractal instance, then most likely that’s what I’m going to get for the rest of the run
If I happen to get an exotic (mob or chest drop) from the first instance, then my chance to get another exotic or rare in the following instances seems to go higher.
What happen to me was either i get all junks from a fractal run, or made out like a bandit with 2-4 exotics per run(that happens like 10% the time….)
Fifth consecutive daily Fractal run in the 32-38 range last night without any rare drop. ONLY blues and greens throughout the 3 Fractals and the Maw.
The only yellows I’ve been seeing are when I throw the the excessive amount of greens that I get into the mystic forge.
Yes, you might get unlucky once, twice, maybe even three times, but five in a row? I’d call that exceedingly unlikely.
So yes, my empirical evidence supports my suspicion of something fishy.
While the developers enthusiastically decline the idea of a stealth nerf in the many threads in the game bugs forum, my bet is that it’s an unintended bug in the way loot chances are calculated after they patched the Fractals system to have a “Personal Reward Level” and allow players of any level to participate in the maximum difficulty available to the group.
As a matter of fact, when helping out a group on Fractal 8 (my personal reward level on the particular toon I was playing is 32), I received a total of 9 rare items in total across all 4 fractals. While those 9 drops likely are an outlier, it’s still unrealistic compared to my daily high level runs.
In summary:
5×4 = 20 Fractals completed at level 32-38 over the course of five days resulted in 0 rare items dropped.
1×4 = 4 Fractals completed at level 8 on a single occasion resulted in 9 rare items dropped.
Please ArenaNet, bring the denial phase to an end and have the team who implemented the Fractal system changes double check their source code.
A Net stealth nerf it, is useless to keep deny it. RNG has nothing to do with it, after the patch I also have the same problem : I’m running lvl 20+ fractals and I get only greens and blue, before was like 3-4 rares / run or more (considering the difficulty of the dungeon, it how it should be).
I get a few rares on levels under 10 with my new mesmer rather than 20+ with my warrior.

My question is where are all the loadstones that used to drop. I used to get a min of 1 loadstone in 2 runs, and that was the worst of it. Usually there are alot more but now, its more like 1 in 4 or 5 runs and more like only on tier like 30-39 or 40-49. The loadstone drop has been reduced for sure I can tell u you cos alot of ppl are experiencing the same problem.

I disagree that the loot in game was nerfed. Anet have said it was not nerfed. But there is still less reason to play it. Rings were good. The containers were good and the backpiece was good. Now new ascended gear can only be acquired by Laurels. Most players who played fractals previously already have their rings/backpiece = no point in playing it.
I haven’t run a fractal in over a week now because the loot started to suck. Something was changed and there is no doubt about that. Mainly lodestones like one guy above said. I used to get at least 1 every day in 2 or 3 fractal runs. I haven’t gotten a lodestone in a month.
Sostronk, perhaps the ability to get items that were previously useful, might have made fractals feel worth while now, but wether its a nerf or not, there is no doubt that fractals are in no way a competetive way of earning gold or globs.

CoF is a better way to earn gold, timewise. But for me I don’t know a better way to farm globs.
since update i abandoned fractals. Not only they’re boring kitten **** with no new enemies every 10 level (as it should be) but when you’re doing full run, open 4 chests and get 0-2 rares we have a problem. My average was 5-6 rares per run and now its like 2 and i got three runs with zero rares which never happened before update. Anet loves to ****up things so im not exactly surprised nor mad, just leave the dungeon like all the others since there no incentive.
Fact: every Thief tells you to “l2p” when the subject is to nerf stealth.
Every time i play fractals it seems that rng has some serious issues..
I mean i never complained in any game of rng, but here you pass from no rares streak to 6 Yellow 1 exotic and 1 skin…
You never seem to have an “average” luck you either drop a lot or nothing at all….
Being “average” the most probable result and considering many players see this happening i m really starting to doubt the rng has some issues….
P.S. agree that pre patch you got more rares thus more ecto….
Could this be a patch to modify ecto cost?

gold = glob, so even there cof is far superior, and rares are just as common in cof as in fractals, for me atleast..
I can confirm that I use to get 6+ rares per run. I never got less than 6 rares in any run until the last patch. Since then, I get 0-2 rares per run. Mostly 0.
I think some of you are forgetting the awesome rewards that you can get while progressing in fractals. The rings, the backarmor and the fractal weapons.
Another thing some of you are forgetting is to enjoy! It’s not all about getting rares or exotics. Try to have a group of friends sometime, and have fun.
The chance of getting a fractal weapon weapon you actually want is almost as low as getting a precursor.. and has finite amount of chances per day.
Youll have the back armor and rings before 30, what then? what exactly is the point of doing the highest viable current tier? 30+ ? non.
And Im sure most of us enjoyed it the first time we progressed trough it, that how ever ends abruptly.
Looking at my drops and drops of my guild mates (fractal daily 26 and 34/36 each day), for several days now I MUCH lower numbers of rare drops. Yes it happens that I find some exo in the chest or from time to time from a mob drop, yes it happens that 1 person from whole team can get a little bit more rares, but still in most of the situations mobs drops are crap. I had much better drops when I was doing fractals on a little bit lower levels. It looks like DR hits fractals (or stealth nerf).
On the other hand, drops like rings and fractal weapons I believe have nothing to do with it. I would say that they have just really low chance to drop, but each day at least 1 person from my team gets one skin (max 2) from 2 daily runs. And I would say that it’s the same as it was earlier.

Well, when you are lvl 36 fractal you don’t need any rings anymore…Or if you do there is a problem!
Fractal weapon are just skin account bound so i have a fractal shield, a hammer and a gun…Oh, i play ele…
Doing fractal really takes time, in general in high lvl you have to go with pugs and it’s not always enjoyable. Also the reason why people go fractal is for the difficulty and get loot so we can get are legendary weapon.
But now difficulty doesn’t give good loot anymore…So what’s the point?
I have almost an entire bank “bag” full with Fractal rings I have no use for.
I’ve given up hope on getting the weapons. I haven’t gotten one in almost 2 months.
