This is the last spoon that I need to get the collection achievement of spoons. I’ve been hitting the fractals every day for a month, but I still have not had one drop. Is the drop bugged?

I think they removed the spoon – to replace it for something else that was more vendor friendly.

I have been doing fractals for about a month now with my guildies, and no one has had the fractal spoon drop. I need that to complete the spoon achievement. Has that item been removed from the game? If so, how will I complete that collection?

It still drops, but only if you haven’t gotten one. (If you have, you get a ‘broken spoon’ instead — that’s a ‘junk’ item, so easier to turn into coin.)

That might explain why other folks haven’t seen it.

As for why you haven’t… it’s random and some seem to get it right away and others… well, a month is a bit long, but not unheard of (especially if, for example, you’re only doing 3/day rather than 9/day).

Look in lfg for a volcanic shard farm, join and pop a bunch of magic find boosters. Easiest way to get a spoon. I got 2 broken spoons within an hour a few weeks ago. I already got the fractal spoon before so all I get are broken ones now.

You get broken spoons when you’ve already gotten the collection item.

I’ve been soloing the fractal adept daily almost every day recently. I’ve gotten like 7 spoons

They still drop. I get them frequently. Just make sure you’re killing mobs that drop loot, otherwise you’ll never get one. For instance, if you spam Swamp constantly you’ll never get one because the only things that can drop them there are the neutral Firefly enemies and some Spiders you never actually fight.

Swamps of the Mists doesn’t help either.

It’s not a bug, no need to bug report. They decreased the droprate of fractal spoons by a LOT, but they still drop.
