What was the hype Anet stated about not needing to wait for a group.
Spent hours looking for groups to do this part of the game plus had countless fails through players bailing mid run or getting DC’d.
Even helped lower level runners get theirs done with the same happening with theirs.
When I log into a game I would of thought that the one thing you don’t want to do is sit around and just wait doing nothing but spamming chat for party members, which is one thing Anet’s own hype would be a thing of the past.
If it wasn’t for the gear and cash grind of the game I would go anywhere near fractals as I hate dungeons and see them as nothing more than repetitive mindless gaming that comes free with a lobotomy

Game needs a WoW style dungeon finder. But some people think it takes away from the socialization if you don’t have to stand around LA spamming /lfg for an hour before you actually get to play.

I just want to play, I can socialize anytime in the guild or party.
Spamming is just bleh and really brain numbing

The fractal leveling mechanic, even with the gw2lfg.com site, splits up the player base a ton with no real incentive to for players to go backwards (unless they’re in the 10s/20s trying to farm rings). I know Anet said they’re working on it (like every other problem), but that doesn’t really help the here and now. I honestly don’t understand how they thought this level mechanism was even a good one. Should’ve been like dungeons… the highest level available can “host” the fractal and everyone get a +1 to their progression upon completion. Given all the repeats of 10s and 20s, it would easy for lower level fractal players to catch up… though I’d suspect some elitism to happen in order to make sure only “true lvl X” players are participating and whatnot.

If not for being in a family oriented guild, I would never go down a level in fractals. Helping guildies and playing with everyone is the only reason I help out with <10 levels, at the cost of my own time with no real rewards.

The idiotic RNG drops is keeping me going to 20+ lvls anyways (a week of dailies without one pink drop).

Bruno, your suggestion is a great one, wish Anet would see it.

As for using an external method to finding a group other than in game what is the point of having the game in the first place when you have to resort to using something that is not part of the game to enable you to play it.

Address it with Anet, meanwhile if you want a group gw2lfg is your best solution. Or you can go back to spamming /map for hours.
