Fractals 45 AR still not enough
Isnt the agony at 50+ about 1000% of your hp? You need 170 agony resistance.
I think they purposely cap how much AR you can have to keep players from getting to high into fractals. Gotta wait for the slow trickle of Ascended Gear releases. Isn’t 45 the max AR right now anyway?
It is purposefully capped. You cannot do even levels above 48.

It’s 1172% HP/sec. You need 980 AR to take 1% HP/sec from it.
How do you have 45AR ? ….
2 infused rings = 20
1 infused Back = 10
1 Amulet = 5
1 accessory = 5
Total 40 AR
The only way to get 45 AR is if you already have two accessory’s one from Laurels one from Guild Mission! and in that case WOW.. well done!

you can try to ress a party member till 99% before the agony phase and then when you get agony you can ress him.

and you do it again once you kill the last jade Crystal.

ye, i was doing that with 35ar at lvl 48

You could also get accessories from the guild mission chests. A friend of mine has 2 accessories, 4 commendations, and 60 laurels right now.
The first week of Guild Bounty’s you could get 4 commendations for that week, instead of 2. Also last month there was a laurel bug where people got an extra 10.
AR 40 or 45 is pretty much useless right now. I suspect that when they decide to open up 50+ daily I will probably have got 45 ar on both my main and alt.
is the difference for fotm 40-48 noticeable with 45 AR or is it useless?

A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
