Guild Wars 2

Here we have a big question, we are on level 4 of fractals, and a question came along with this post from gw2hub:

“Before you can begin, you’ll first need to form a full group of five players. All party members will need to be located in Lion’s Arch within the same shard, though only the group leader will need to be physically present at the asura gate to enter the main Fractals of the Mists instance.”

Does this mean that he can’t join us (a friend that is on a German server, we are on Seafarer’s Rest a completly different one) afterwards when this “overflow” servers stop being active cause of the event? I mean, he will not be in the same shard (we are on the same overflow now to be able to join as example), please an answer will be much appreciated.

I know is in 2 places, but Robert might see it here and other guys too in the lost shore.
