Fractals of the Mist is an interesting dungeon with … issues that have been discussed at length in other threads. However, one core discrepancy I don’t understand is the lack of Knight (pow, +pre, +vit) or Cleric (pow, +tough, +heal) ascended items.

With the more limited customization (baked-in jewel mods) forced into rings/back pieces, and the lacking Cleric & Knight, I feel forced to purchase attributes I dont want if I want to continue to progress in the fractals dungeon. Adding these stats to the ascended items would allow for the same variation present in all other areas of the game.

There are no Knight items?

Wow, this is news to me and most definitely of the bad variety!

Rings only exist in.

Soldier, Bereserker, Rabid, Omni (all stats), Magic Find, of various sorts, Power/Toughness/Crit damage (this was introduced with the fractals update and I think it’s called cavaliers), Toughness/Vit/Condition Damage (don’t think this has a name).

Noticeably absent are Cleric, Knights, Carrion, Rampagees, Valkyrie, Apothecary, and the new Givers.

Why all those types are not supported and ANET decided to make new ones, and several ones with magic find hogging a stat slot? I do not know. I just hope they add more options soon as I don’t use any of the ones currently in game.

would really love to see Knight added, one of the best stat combinations ingame.

I would like clerics ascended. Even something with same healing as an orichalcum cleric ring with better power and toughness.

It’s also missing Rampager’s stats for all Ascended items as well. My main character with over 1,300 hours actual playtime spent happened to be using both Knight’s and Rampager’s mix for gears.

Cleric set is used by many people. And now those people suffer thanks to Ascended sh…atterer :P Thank you very much for adding them to the game. /sarcasm

first clerics you can still wear the armor, so its down to just rings/backpiece. if your running clerics, i assume your a guardian in which Toughness/Vit/Condition Damage is the best ring you can get. sure you need a heal (Clerics) set for agony but your armor should be good enough and then with the tuff rings, i dont see how you can complain.

Condition damage is pretty terrible on a Guardian.
