Guild Wars 2

Just pugging a lvl 38 fractals, all is well. We just completed the third fractal before the boss one (Aetherblade Frac), when the ready up screen appears to continue to the next fractal. We all ready up, and then the screen disappears…but we don’t fade out of the fractal and continue to the loading screen, instead we sit there and nothing happens. In disbelief we all tried numerous things, including each person individually logging in and out leaving and rejoining the group, but that did nothing. So, yet another glitch in fractals that screws you over in the worst kind of way that halts your progress. Anyone else experience this, or am I just an unlucky guy. Pic below is just us sitting there with no ready up UI.

I just posted in the gw2dungeons bugs thread about this. After reading your thread I’m very sure that there are some server issues or something going on that just started causing these problems.

This exact same thing happened to us after we were teleported to the chest room in thaumanova and ready’ed up. Also, I joined another LFG group in hopes I could still get daily chest and they too had this happen after 3rd fractal.

I hope they fix this.

Oh btw the 2nd LFG group that I joined… nobody after (that wasn’t in the original party) was able to get the fractals pop-up and enter their instance.

i’m so sorry op i had the same feeling when my whole party got dc out of third fractal on lvl 50

I had this exact same thing happen before in fractals…It was a while ago so i dont remember the exact circumstances. I think it was a 50 and it was definitely on the second or third fractal. Seeing as how this is affecting more than one person it definitely needs to be looked at.

I had the same re-enter LFG bug like you have described.

I’ve seen this issue before, but it only happens when there are issues connecting to the login server ANet-side.

What I’m curious about is if it’s more prevalent since the 3/31 patch or if it’s just coincidence that it happened afterward (lots of people patching, etc). I ran a fractal series last night and everything seemed fine, so I’m not sure. More information would be helpful!

Never seen that but i chuckled at mysef once in a 50 run, someone hit the exit button the same time we finished the boss map...we all went back to lobby and no end run ground or wiggly chest. 0_0
