Hello everyone, since the HoT Patch, you can reach Fractals lvl 80 and you can do this quite easy. However i want to talk about Infusions and not the challenge itself.
For Fractal lvl 80 you need 150 ar which is alot but you can manage it with the new 7 Infusions. You can use them in 14 Slots, which is a total of 98 ar, the missing 52 are easily achieved with 2 +11 and 310 Infusions(you need Rings with 3 Slots of course)All in all you only need 3584 +1 Infusions. But well i’m not new to this game and have crafted lots of malign and mighty Infusions. They are really really expensive and far superior to the normal Infusions, but now i cant use them anymore if i want to play high level fractals. If you use them you get a total of 70 ar. For the Missing 80 you need 5 +16 Infusions, which is a total of 163840 Infusions, which is roughly 4500g (without the reagent). Has Anet simply forgotten about those Infusions or do i have to craft different armors, weapons and trinkets for fractals now? It would be nice to get a Feedback from a dev, or if someone knows anything about this topic please share

If you want to keep going, I suggest you extract your Mighty Infusions and save them in your bank and replace them with the +7s. If you’ve done as many fractals as you claim, it shouldn’t be too hard to replace them all. Would be cheaper than making new gear at least.
If by some chance ANET remembers mighty infusions exist, you still have yours to update.
I sure hope they introduce a upgrade recipe that allows us to make our various + 5/5 Infusions into + 5/7 Infusions. I spent a ton of Gold minmaxing my stats with Versatile Precise Infusions for my armor (incl. breather), Mighty for my weapons, and mix of Precise and Versatile Precise for my jewelry, all the while maintaining the AR required to do previously higher-end Fractals. The need to use five + 15 Infusions to reach 150 (+ 10 from potion, -5 from using using a Utility Infusion on the Amulet) AR for Fractal 100, is a bit excessive, when I already invested so much Gold in the + 5/5 Ìnfusions. Let us upgrade these to be + 5 of the stat and + 7 AR, please.

Yeah, I agree about adjusting the 5/5 to be able to become 5/7 or just plain make em 5/7 straight up.
yesterday, met someone who said they don’t run fractals with their main anymore because the main has 5/5’s…
