Of course he and his team are not gonna have the time to do proper changes to fractals. Ever since feb they have been coming up with new guild missions or expansions to existing guild missons. They also have been monitoring GMs in order to buff or nerf certain things.

The only thing they seem to have time for, when it comes to FOTM, is to fix exploits, nerf the rewards lol and a bunch of stuff that made fractals harder. Maybe its not them doing it, might be the dungeons team stepping in, I don know.

But coming back to my point, if stuff keeps going the way they are, I believe we will only see changes to fractals such as new fractals or change in the method of getting fractal skins after all the guild missions are released. And also it is only if he’s not handed a content to develop.

My question is why can’t he and his team take a bit of time to develop fractals a bit more? With the constant fixes or changes to fractals which makes it harder and the reduction in rewards compared to the first few months of its release, I would say that they are not wanting to take on more workload, hence trying to “discourage” ppl from doing fractals in the hope that it will eventually be forgotten. Well atleast until Leah Rivera and his team have the time to revisit it.

On a separate note what happened to Linsey Murdock. This dev is supposed to be doing crafting and items. What happened to the infusion recipes for the rest of the accessories?

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t this dev suppose to come up with some sort of treasure hunt. Lol what happened to that?

-they added mobs
-they buffed bosses and added skills to them
-they changed some maps
-they had time to nerf pve skills
-changed a boss mechanic against players introducing a new glitch against players (cliffside skill lock)

They don t have time to reset arm seals at cliffside on wipe…

Its quite hard to believe….

GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

In case you haven’t noticed, it appears most if not all of the dungeon team has been working on the living story.

This would help explain why most dungeons have been relatively ignored lately.

But the point is they didn t ignore fotms.

They did really a lot of changes…….
But rather than dealing with issues player reported, they changed trivial things or even aggravated issues player reported (and that delberately).

GW2 balance:

Just remember how changes to regular dungeons were hyped and how players responded to the change of Acalon Catacombs. Have you done Colossus Rumblus lately? It is still glitch hell with NPCs and players try to “out-bug” each other.

Living story seems to bring in players, particularily bring them into the store. Everything else appears on hold or scrapped, with expansions being actively denied.

Bad times for high level coordinated teamplay. GW2 did not have much of that to begin with and it seems that development of that type of play has died down entirely. Fotm is stuck in the mud.

It’s easier for them to add new content, regardless of how many bugs it causes, than try and clean up any of their mistakes.

Look at the necro downed state. How about that right click targeting.

You just need to accept that they don’t care about you outside of your purchases, and they make more money hyping up artificial scarcity with temporary content.

You have gotten what you paid for, all that remains is biweekly gemshop pushing.

But why WOULD the arms reset? The spawns are because the npcs now notice that you’re there so they come to defend the seal. Resetting this would be like if you wiped then all the npcs that defend the campfire in the ice fractal or all the dredge in front of either door would reset. It doesn’t REALLY make sense.

Well why would the health of a completely broken seal reset? You just broke it and there aren’t even any respawns for that seal?

because doesn t make sense that if a single player messes OR trolls a 5 player party is doomed to fail a 2 hours long fractal.

For example.

Your campfire ectc example doesn t makes sense…
They nor heal wall nor they spawn more and neither oneshots you from long ranged Attacks you cannot avoid in that number.

Well i hope you get forced to PUG and you get trolls that kills the chanters so you finally understand how despite your skill this fractal is a mess……good luck at clearing it at 40.

For the new content stuff.

I strongly doubt even casual players finds fun to farm karkas…..
Lets say instead that a 200% increase magic find with the chances to drop TP chests, paired with 2 backpacks are the real reasons.

people are after rewards otherwise karka Island would be a desert as Always.
