Just wondering if its possible to obtain multiple unique rings. I know I can’t equip multiples… but can I even get them?

Example: I have 1 Red Ring of Death. Can I obtain a second one and give it to another character? Or will the system not allow my fractals character to obtain more than 1?

Situation: I would like to have resist on my guardian, but he has no use for berserker stats… My thief could really use those stats though. So what I’m afraid of is that if I equip my red ring of death on my guardian… is that it will then be soulbound and I will lose all chances of my thief ever having the same ring.

Any help is appreciated, this is very confusing to me.

In regards to your questions.

1) You are able to get multiple rings of the same type – although you won’t be able to equip multiple rings of the exact same type due to them being “unique” – to clarify you won’t be able to equip 2 x Red Ring Of Death on the same character but you’re able to equip a different unique ring instead. I hope this makes sense.

2) The Ascended rings are account bound as far as I know so that won’t be an issue. If someone would like to confirm that they remain Account bound after equip that would be nice as I don’t even have one Ascended ring yet so I can’t confirm this.

They are indeed account bound so you are unable to sell them on the trading post. Unfortunately they are also soul bound on use; so once equiped on a character it can’t be given to an alt.

Thanks guys, exactly the information I needed. I had been concerned that my bad luck with the rings might have been attributed to the system trying to give me the same ring multiple times. Glad to hear that is not the case.
