ive been playing since launch but somehow for whatever reason, ive done fractals maybe twice ever. Finally going to hop into it… which classes are best? also, are the fractal levels account wide or per character? I usually use thief for dungeon but sometimes I break out my mesmer or Guardian. I have everything at 80 except warrior and necro. thanks

Fractal levels are character-bound.

Guardians/mesmers/warriors are the highly wanted classes for fractals, but you can use any other class that interests you.

Any class should do just fine. Try to put some Armour on in fractals. Other than that you should be OK. Make sure to up your agony resistance as fast as possible. Agony is biggest killer… That and those big red circles.

Guardian for solo-carrying if you get a trash group. Get a bad group on say, a Warrior which has 0 reflects, and you’re gonna have a bad time.

any class is fine only thing that becomes essential is a guardian at 40+ as the agony is overkill, but post September, that wont really be a major as we get more AR.
general fractal rule is no more than 2 of any class.
