So I had to switch worlds to get WvW maps fully explored, and my friends from my original server wanted to do a fractal. We all got into a party, but I couldn’t join them in the fractals. We could do Caudecus manor together, but we couldn’t figure out how to get the fractals together. Any ideas? The wiki says we can do fractals with parties across worlds.

If one of you is in an overflow server, you can party up and join each other in the same overflow server to accomplish this.

Any other way? We don’t have to do that with the other dungeons.

Join an overflow, it’s the only way.

No, because fractals aren’t typical dungeons. They look similiarly to personal story quests and you can’t cross server them unless on overflow.

for now it isn’t that bad – right now I nearly always (at least evenings) land on overflow when I travel to LA, thanks to fractals and wintersday.. but when things calm down, then it get’s really frustrating as you won’t even be able to go to an overflow, if you don’t know anybody in one.. so even using third party means (gw2lfg.com) will only work if at least one person is in an overflow.

I really hope the pending guesting system will be finished before there are a lot less people around (not saying people are leaving, but they won’t play as much outside of events etc).
