My guess is 14/14/14/14/14. P/P. Doesn’t matter what the 2nd weapon is because you don’t swap or take advantage of the weapon swap sigils.
I believe you add scorpion wire because it has a cool looking thumbnail, but don’t use it.

I can’t watch the stream on my phone, but some guy in this forum said exploding enemies will discourage full berserker teams – how much damage does it do and is it just count to X then dodge? If it’s going to be an actual issue then I’m disappointed anet would cater to bads who want their bad gear to work.

Either that was me or the person who posted after me (I’m assuming). I said something along the lines of how “I guess Anet heard all the anti-stacking/anti-melee crowd”. I think he followed up with anti-zerk or something.

It might just be: All mobs reflect projectiles.
And then we will cringe when all the bads continously keep killing themselves over and over again. Or we see a reddit thread about how rangers cant complete the fractal with that instability because they cant range

God forbid ranged weapons be made at some point viable. The horror for all the people who think playing melee in this game makes them stand out against actually difficult games.
This game is casual anyway you cut it on the PvE side, so please drop this crap.
If this were a serious game, you’d see different mechanisms applied to several ranges so that the difference is not damage, but playstyle preference.
But I guess LoS’ing into a corner and stacking boons/reflect makes you so special.

I’m pretty casual when it comes to GW2, but just because i don’t care about it doesn’t means it is easy, all i see here is someone hating on player skill, which is funny because in all games i’ve been in skilled players were praised both at PvE and PvP, meanwhile people in here avoid skill like a plague.

If you can’t solo 48 bloomhunger, you don’t belong in fractal 48.
It’s possibly the most obviously scripted encounter in the game.
I’ve soloed archdiviner. It just wasn’t full melee as I would like unless it’s on a DD ele and you can use the larger melee radius to not trigger his swings. You’d be surprised how much soloing people had to do when there was no ascended accessories and you found yourself in bad pugs where within the first 10 seconds of a fight people went down to agony because in 48 you had to learn to dodge it, and you’d spend the next 10-15 minutes soloing a boss.
I don’t hate on player skill. I admire it on many games. It’s just funny seeing people be petty toward those who use ranged weapons under the assumption that they’re so much more skilled. People from real PvE endgame MMO’s would laugh themselves to the grave just looking at these people.
It’s like the college football guy trash talking high school atheletes.

Playing ranged is exploiting, you make boss don’t use its all attacks. Kinda like stacking, huh?

There are bigger matters, at least for me. This… trend, by anet to make new dungeons – fractals in this case – like an endless parade of jumping puzzles and electrified floors. It’s killing me… Have you seen the aetherblade fractal? The Mai one? It’s just a continuous repeating of what I said earlier. Jump over lasers, avoid the dangerous floor, jump here, jump there.
Oh, also, since you geniuses voted for Kiel, there will be another fractal with lasers, golems and cheesy asura “technology”. Thanks.

I’m almost as sick of electrified stuff and aetherblades – and golems – as of oblivious people on the forum.
Let’s not talk about the level of players who show new content and stream, don’t even get me started. Of course the content is hard and feels like it needs a nerf if you play a pi/p thief WITHOUT SWAPPING AND USING UTILITIES.
Was that even GW2?
On this entire thread I haven’t read anything about calling melee/stacking exploits. People sure love their imaginary arguments.
In fact, what I’ve seen is moaning about the developer who had the temerity to livestream with a diabolical P/P thief build. As if you’ve never seen a dev livestream (when they did molten facility, the dev playing a ranger just did shortbow auto, who cares it’s just showcasing content — unless you wanted the livestream cut by 2/3 because that’s the clear time when done on an organized melee stack).

You have not read yet but it is usually a matter of time until someone comes and tells that stacking in melee trivializes whole game or even worse.

Heh, they definitely can’t please everyone. I LOVE jumping puzzles, and I’ve been loving the addition of more mobile gameplay in dungeons. (My only complaint with stuff like the Molten Berserker’s stomps is that jumping over it is too dependent on ping.)
Did the stream show the laser room at the end of the Aetherblade fractal? I’m wondering if it’s unchanged from before. That room was laughably easy to do if everybody used ranged weapons and DIDN’T snare the golem, since it only got its annoying Pull ability if it got struck by a laser.

I couldn’t go further than the extremely long corridor with an electrified floor and then a room full of lasers that give agony. Mind you, there’s nothing on that room, only mobile lasers. I sighed, cursed a little on ts and closed it. I just… couldn’t endure it.

E: I’ve never, ever reset a specific fractal other than picking swamp first. I think I’m going to seriously reset the instance if I get this one. It looks… it basically embodies everything I hate in this game; only dredges and the Grenth boss in Arah are missing.

But he purposefully left off two trinkets to make up for it…. purposefully, right? Tell me I’m right.
It’s because he had already 1000 agony on the rings and back. Look at the screenshot: 51 Agony Resistance with no accessories… So he had already all the AR he wanted and the stats aren’t really important. Everybody knows that.
I watched the video. I’d say one of the worst part was that the guy playing really looked bored and didn’t seem to care about what he was doing at all. Not really the best way to “sell” the patch imo. That alone made me want to close the vid within the first few minutes. Maybe he wasn’t feeling comfortable, dunno, but it would have been better without the webcam.
As for the content in itself, it seems they added “artificial difficulty” with puzzle components like laser room to make us spend more time. While it may be funny the few first times when you do it in guild on voice com, I guess it will get old really fast and will just be frustrating.
Nothing really exciting in this video tbh, they didn’t show much of the mist instabilities the leaderboards seem pointless, not that we really asked for them anyway.
I was happy to see the cinematic of the last molten facility bosses again though, I really like this one.
