Guild Wars 2

So after a leak saying “Ventari will be getting alacrity” I was hype. I already played Magi revenant and goofed off with my guild as a ventari/glint healer. Pulsing out dank regens that kept the group fairly topped up passively and UNREAL burst healing that fixed even some of the biggest oopses in an instant.

Not to say I was good at it…
But it was fun. I figured with alacrity maybe rev would be taken seriously again for raids. … But I also figured it was a silly dream and yet another fake leak.

But then the patch comes and I’m left awestruck.
The awe turns to mild disappointment though when I see that the alacrity is completely unreliable and to even obtain it I have to spam my expensive heal that is on a delay.

Still… I have hope that the patch hype will let me eek into a group … so I try my luck with a training group for VG after work.

Now I was tired after work; nearly falling asleep at my computer, even. I joined their discord almost expecting a bunch of experienced guildies who were going to run me through the basics (which at the time I was very well familiar with, but I wouldn’t have taken as an insult)

.. But much to my surprise they’re all pretty friendly…. But they’re not a guild.
The LFG was created by a guild that eventually left and turned into a purely pug group trying to train and learn with other pugs.
