Anyone here ever experience someone going crazy and raging quiting on them. Tell us your story.

Can it be me rage quitting on them?

One day I was really really witchy. I go into a level 35 fractal with a good friend and a few pugs. I’m an ele, friend was a guardian, 2 condi necros, and a Mesmer.

We take forever to kill bloom hunger. I whispered my friend and said, “hey if we leave now we can probably get through all of the fractals with a new group quicker because this group sucks” and he was like “ah… Let’s wait and see.”

We get to harpy, second fractal, they take forever to skip the harpies. I’m raging. I ask my friend again if I can go. He says let’s wait and see with the champs.

We kill the rabbit. We kill the vet. We start killing the charr while my friend kites the Ettin, and one condi necro says "we should have fought all champs together, pings epidemic ". Now I don’t know how to play necro. I don’t know if this guy was right to want that or not.

I say “killing them separately reduces the chance we wipe and have to go back through the harpies”

He goes “yeah because this is my first BBQ.”

We kill Ettin, I collect my loot. I type “GL HF” and leave party. Sign out. Play Pokemon.

We had a thief in fractals once, he was our only pug. I had him ping his gear, it checked out.. Full zerk+ scholar. We get in, dps is slow.. I’m not really watching him. I just assumed he was fine because he was a ‘top’ pvper. I wonder if anyone can guess who he is, he has a very prominent name in pvp. Anyway. We get to the harpy fractal. I finally notice. He is sitting on shortbow the entire time, autoattacking in the back while we all melee. I ask him to please go into melee for Old Tom. What does he do? stands in melee range auto attacking with his shortbow. At this point we were all like wtf.. we asked him to put a melee weapon on. This was when he lost his kitten at us.

‘You guys are just trash pve players, you don’t know kitten. Shortbow damage is high enough, in fact it’s really high’
‘You can’t tell me melee is better, I bet you guys would all lose to me 1v1’
’I’m a thief, if I melee I die, and dead dps is no dps.’
‘None of you people have been in a tourny in your lives, you guys know nothing.’

I was surprised, mostly because it was this most cliche kitten I had ever read. He was serious however and continued on this verbal vitriol for another 10 mins while we just sat there and laughed. Then I’m not sure if we kicked him or he left but it was pretty funny.

Few days ago I had a leaver who decided to leave at the final boss of the fractal (right before even fighting the boss). Who does that? I mean, what’s the point? Kinda silly.

Besides, the team wasn’t that bad. They did okay.

Does his name start with C?
He could camp shortbow in my pug any day.

I nearly rage quit in fractals 34 on dredge with the mistlock instability which made hits from the side or behind 50% more I think… and since they fixed it too it was a right pain in the kitten . I probably shouted random abuse in real life at arena net about 10 times. It took us 2 hours and I grabbed my jumper and threw it at a draw knocking over a load of frames. But we did it eventually. Then at the end chest of jade I got a cleric ring. GG anet.

This is more sad than funny but… I was pugging arah path 2 first time after the last patch and everyone left the party because of the new spider run. I decided to keep going by myself to check the next waypoint spawn. Died once fighting the berserker abomination and the second try it made me aggro the champion drake with the enrage knockback.

I just Alt + F4 ed

I remember one time in a SE run. There was an incredibly annoying ele who kept telling everyone what to do. I couldn’t wait to finish the run and gtfo.
So when we killed the last boss I left so fast I didn’t get the chests.

My favorite rq so far:
Arah, path 2, begining. LFG said: experienced etc. Host tried his best to be "pro". Told us to wait so he would skip mobs and not bug boss. And so he started runing. Unfortunetly Deadeye is very hard mob and our leader died. Few seconds later he was offline:) After waiting few minutes we assumed rage quit and started the fresh instance;)
