I love when people talk about the stuff they have and feel that’s proof of competency. I had a shortbow ranger a while back try and talk kitten on me because I didn’t have a legendary so I shouldn’t tell people how to play. It was fun talking smack back and forth with that guy though, all started because 4 or us went to the normal stack spot and he ran right into the middle, then commented “they die faster if you kill the support ones” (on COE before the defense grid) I simply said “they also die faster if you pull them to the rest of the group”.

He’s right though, full celestial ele in 14/14/14/14/14 is meta, and you can solo kill “everything”. Why do these dead zerkers choose to be so naïve! It’s impossible to survive on 10,8k hp you NEED the vitality! And this is an rpg why should gear matter it’s all about “dem playz”… Unless the tank dies, cause he was noob, Sigh.

You can’t DPS when dead?

Sounds like bingo to me.

Of course you can dps when dead. Dps your party members by pulling a horde of risen to them.

That’s my usual DPS strategy, Dub.

The “Dead Hand” is also a very legit strategem to DPS whilst dead.

An idea that would work well and does work fairly well in plenty of gear-focused mmorpg.

An idea that would force actual elitism in GW2 given no rng present.

So I decided to try casually pugging an arah p3 yesterday, everyone else tried skipping the four elites but couldn’t so they died, i started soloing hunter/crusher and i’m completely out of practice and my connection blows so I ended up eating the floor at like 80% twice in a row either from immobilise or because I completely forgot the aggro radius of the patrols near the boss and pulled them.

maybe i need to condemn myself to resetting every arah p2/3 fight for hours on end until i can go back to getting them right again as punishment :p

Are those even skipable without stealth? I mean, I never tried.

Also I sometimes die soloing those even with dogged march on, just so you can feel better.

well you see, your average player sees people running ahead and thinks “oh i’ll follow that guy” completely ignoring the fact that i’m stealthing with consumables while they’re literally just trying to run through but just pulling everything

Anyone has Minstrel to confirm it has footprints instead of a glow trail ?

I do have Minstrel, and no, there’s no footprints, only the musical notes coming out of it.

That’s what I tought, the wiki page was lying, its just the notes fading as a trail. Getting that one next week. ._.

tbh I don’t need anything else for my mesmer, with Bolt / Minstrell / Quip / Kamohoali’kotaki, and then Eternity and Bifrost’s skins.

Nice :o would miss quip and eternity, but I m not playing GS enough for it to be worthy. Imo even Rodgort would be a better choice.

It was a bit surprising to be honest. Oh and Retreat CD will be 40s instead of 60s, yay! Maybe ele elementals deserve a honorable mention that their skills now will be instant cast finally.

dam, the guardian changes is awesome, if they do stick to their words this would be a welcomed change.

Also the 3 seconds knock down on bane signet, I always found that the knockdown wasn’t even 2 seconds, every time I KD an enemy (PvE) he just get back up right after which always seemed weird to me.

P.S. I have to agree with Spoj, anyone not rocking the Kraitkin should be ashamed of themselves and think about what went wrong with their life.

Have any of you ever heard of Zhaitan bugging out at the end fight?
I was trying to buy story earlier (well, it IS boring!) and when the party filled the seller could not finish the path. I got suspicious after he “went to google how to finish” and ported to the Glory of Tyria wp. Zhaitan was there, but the cannons could not be activated.
Was he just really unlucky?

Didn’t get my gold back, either and the guy lied in lfg about the “last spot” which made me waste half an hour, too, waiting for buyers. So much for trusting sellers >>

I never heard of any bypass in arah story, but I obviously don’t spend my time loosing half an hour to check those. However, as you lost an arah story path, I can give you one back for free to make sure you don’t think all sellers are bad individuals, provided you’re EU.
