So earlier I did AC P3 with my friend, and because I couldn’t get anyone from my list, I had to pug it. A warrior and two guardians.

Burn me, why did I let guardian pugs in? One actually stole the FGS that my friend told me to take, and when I yelled at the moron he had the nerve to tell me I “shoulda called it”. Ok, you’ve got terrible reading comprehension, nothing I can do about it.

Colossus Rumblus. Two guardians, should be fine with good reflect uptime, no? So I replaced Smoke Screen with a signet.
Bad move.
No reflects, no stability, not even a simple condition cleanser. My friend died and I got downed as well (Pistol Whipped too late). What did they do? Nothing. Not even a quick res. Sure, the boss was almost dead, but would it have killed them to get me up quickly so I could do my Heartseeker spam and end it faster?

Why do I even pug?

yeah, it’s hilarious how they’re not addressing the real issues and instead going on about lore and brainstorming new fractal ideas. I guess i’m not really surprised after the kitten anet has been doing the past year.

But doesn’t that make them friendly projectiles and you can safely ignore them?

The lightning bars stay unfriendly as far as I can tell from the burn holes in my back. It might be due to the detonation aspect if they connect.
Either that or I dodged the wrong lightning bar because I got confused in the mass of shiny things. And this was not the first time this happend to me.
Anyway we had a good laugh, the entire group including me. Next time maybe I can have my revenge if I’m on my guardian.

maybe the character name just doesn’t sound like something a dude would come up with, or the fact that i’m not using abyss + twilight, i dunno.

pugging arah is always a fun experience though, it never gets old seeing how people who probably think it’s the hardest dungeon sit there dead on the floor or stuck on a skip and then the cutscene pops because I solo’d the next boss and they’re just like “what just happened”

I don’t really care about all the exact stats. If I can do the content I am fine, it’s just not something I care much about. And food, I almost never used ‘foods’ in any game. I have always seen it as a form of cheating.

One year ago I was using full carrion armor and magic find trinkets and attunement dancing too, while on my mes I used full soldiers’ gear and camped staff in dungeons and thought the 2k hits were kitten when in reality I was hitting like wet tissue.

I almost made a post about combat being boring and how gold should have more uses in fractals. Like bribing bosses to die instantly (perhaps an item in gem store).

I really liked Lilith’s idea about player controlled siege engines for the urban battlegrounds fractal. Could even replace the charr npc warband if implemented right and eliminate the AI dependency in that case.

I think that would be rad to have a dungeon forum tournament! TBH we picked minotaurs because their knockback skill has no cooldown. You’ll notice we’ve got a charr in winter costume and we’ve got a candy corn elemental as well.

This reminds me of the Asura ball videos (loved those as well). Though in your case it’s much easier to organize because you don’t need a “friendly” Asura from an opposing server to be the ball in WvW.
Very nice to watch. I especially like your “intelligent ball”-idea where the ball tries to get back to the centre of the playing field.
