I could not find a video of an elementalist soling Lupicus so I thought I’d make one.

it’s doable…but kitten it took 30 mins

To guarantee I made it to phase 3.

I did not expect the attempt to go so well I was still trying to learn phase 3.

I wanted to make sure I had enough hp/toughness to prevent being gibbed from the AoE projectile barrage.

If I ever do it again I’ll probably do something like 30 air 20 arcane 20 water with enough pvt gear to get 14k hp.

Nice to finally see someone (with recording capabilities) to step up.

I’ve “almost” (failed at 0,000000001% lol) done it with full berserker gear (ruby orbs instead of scholars), Berserker Trinkets and 0/25/0/15/30. The heal of Evasive Arcania and Water 15 are nice, although not needed.

Good job although you could change few things. If you pick avatar of melandru for additional stability or more health points for bad moments you can drop armor of earth and pick something like lightning hammer which increases damage a bit. Only requirement is Cantrip Mastery. Also, if you kill those swarms in that way, wouldn’t scepter be better for phase 1? Autoattack with air and nuke swarms with dragon’s tooth, phoenix and magnetic wave.

It’s perfectly doable with full zerker with 0/30/0/20/20 but there’s no much room for mistake

One more thing, how did you dodge final grub? Dodge with stability at the moment it spawns?

Yea if you’re mist formed the grub won’t spawn. Don’t know about any other invuln but I’ve seen my ele friend avoid it with mist so I know it works.

Good job, I’ve heard of ele soloing Lup but it’s nice to see a video.

Mist form doesn’t work and he didn’t use it. Only way to avoid that grub known to me is to let yourself down and be the nearest target of his. Or do what appears to be dodging with stability when grub is supposed to spawn.

I don’t worry about the adds lupicus kills them off in phase two when I reflect his aoe.

Being invulnerable or having stability can prevent the grub spawn.But it does not always work it’s like a 50% chance of happening.

Good idea with utilizing mist form+magnetic wave. I usually do similiar thing with guardian (wor+rf) but haven’t thought about that.

I tried using mist form and it always spawned final grub so I just killed it when lupi would have used frenzied blast (aoe) instead of shadowstep

As long as you stay in the Wall there is no need to use RF, or does that make more projectiles beeing reflected?

It was meant for group fight, not solo.

Does the reflect have to be in melee in order to damage him? Also, why d/f instead of s/f? Is it to melee and avoid the single target ranged blast he does?

You can reflect from range but its a lot harder to time because his projectiles take longer to reach you.

I used a dagger main hand because it offers more single target dps.Even if I did go scepter/focus I’d probably stay melee range because it’s safer to be in melee range of lupi during phase 2 and 3.
