Giganticus lupicus resetting?
Lupi should reset if you try to pull him out of his room.
IIRC the upper waypoint shouldn’t spawn if you do path 3 at all, it should be there if you do path 1. The door is supposed to be shut if you do path 3.

no we did not pull him to any way points we were fighting him in his room right where he stands
Now i dont mind the difficulty of arah but when my time and effort got shut down because of a issue it slightly rustles my jimmies i would like to know a answer directly from a developers mouth
It just sounds like a bug, not the only one in Arah.

Was it just the one run that this happened? Ever since the halloween update that instance has been VERY buggy. Usually I have no problems with lupicus and did 3 runs today without issue on that boss. As for the other parts of the instance we had some strange things happen each runs, sometimes we got randomly teleported around the instance, or the npc glitched out and wouldnt move, or the door to the next area would not open. We would have to leave and start the instance all over again
The only times I have ever seen lupicus reset ( and this is talking waaay back) was randomly during his phase 3, if people ran too far from him in the circular room hes in. Usually this happened if everyone was downed and one person was kiting away meaning that no DPS was currently on the boss. The room is very big so it can happen quite easily. Other times it will be because everyone is on a downed player trying to res him and no one is dpsing the boss. When on my guardian I try to counter this by putting some burning on him and immobilizing him before going in to res someone and always watching him to make sure there’s at least one person attacking him.

it was that run with multiple attempts no one was down we were all full hp and hammering away( spamming skills) as hard as we could it seems to me that if this dungeon is soo buggy right now they should close it down n focus on it along with all the other buggy dungeons asap during or after holloween this little happening really killed my spirit for playing the game anymore i had my sights set on getting 1 piece of the gear n only to be shut down because a bug…hell out of being desperate we even got into melee range during a desperate attempt at him n we took a chunk out of him only to have him reset when were all attacking him in melee range anet really needs to step their game up with the bugs i want to have a answer to this
If something like that happens, you have to reset the dungeons. It sucks, but there is no other way.

i even tried the other paths lately only to get bugged out of 1 and 2 along with experiencing a strange issue with the dwyana preistess at 10% hp she went into perma invisibility and healed up 50% is that really how she is programmed…
The only bug I have seen in path 1 so far was that Yissa didn’t interact with the first boss. Annoying, but not a big problem since you haven’t wasted much time yet.

I’m sorry to hear that, yes that sounds like a bug related to the patch applied for Halloween. At least it should be fixed soon, and know that if you try it again chances are it (hopefully) shouldn’t happen.

Lupicus resetting is a pretty old bug. To prevent it you have to make sure no one is kiting close to the walls and at least one person needs to be in shadow walk range in phase 2, which means like 1000ish distance.
Yes this boss resets his health a lot in phase 1 everyone in my party was attacking him and he suddenly reset his health and yes we fought him in the arena with everyone at around 900 range attacking him
