I remember a patch note a few months ago saying these would start dropping from T4 fractals, but I just went to infuse some rings and noticed I have… 2 of these, and 42 Shards of Crystallized Mists Essence.

Are these actually dropping?

I loot them every so often for sure, though not as frequently as I get shards. That said, just demote the shards into globs via the recipe here.

It’s less gold to buy globs directly (unless you’re horribly short on relics)

• Demotion cost: 1 shard + 1 master sal kit + 1 mystic coin + 1 crystalline dust = 135 silver worth of mats.
• Vendor Cost (INFUZ): 96 silver + 100 (ordinary) fractal relics

It’s a real shame what side effects the increase of Mystic Coin value has had on other recipes. That said, remember the demotion recipe creates 3 globs, so you have to divide the cost by 3.

Good point about the 3 versus 1; I forgot about that.
