Graveling Mounds are exceptionally hard to hit with melee.
I found the opposite. Our melee guys could hit the mounds easily whereas I just got obstructed over and over unless I was in the exact correct spot (which was pretty hard on mounds other than the first three, since I couldn’t be sure exactly where it was…)
This is indeed a bug. I have found that if you stand still and try to melee the mounds you will miss repeatedly, but if you run around you will hit.
On a somewhat related note rifles also get the obstructed or out of range message when attacking a lot of objects. Most notably the blossoms in TA, they are almost impossible to kill with rifles. I have to switch to longbow to kill those every time I run it.
Yeah those kitten blossoms really screwed me up too. Fortunately if you can hit even one with something like chain lightning it’ll bounce to the rest, but if you can’t, good luck corpsewalking back to the room with the tar-spewing wurms.
Oh yes, it’s aweful.
The thing is hard anyway and it resets so corpse running doesn’t work. Then you can’t even hit the mounds… Needs a tweak.
Have others been /bugging this?
With the changes to dungeons they put in today, getting people to run AC is going to be harder than ever.
All environmental objects are extremely hard to hit as melee.
Generally if you stand still you will always miss, but if you strafe back and forth in front of the object your swings will hit.
