It appears to possibly be just a display issue. Try throwing rocks at the shield and see if it breaks after the normal ammount.

Yeah, it is just a display bug. It breaks after the normal count. Still funny to see tho. Figured it is worth showing the bug regardless

Veteran clerics in Bloodstone fen, have the same visual shield bug.
