There needs to be a tool put in place for people to better control their groups. Someway other party members gear, traits, ect. Too many people just don’t get the tells on LFG adverts or don’t care. And secondly for that matter instance leads need better control over the group (Kicking and such).

I know this is a horse beaten to all hell but unless people keep bringing it up day after day it’ll never change.

Will never change because it’s not needed. And the people that don’t care about the LFG can go both ways, so it’s “even” in that manner.

Doesn’t make sense. The Gearscore only represents the sum of rarity you have equipped, not the kind of gear you have. So this means: an Elementalist with only exotics but full berserker is more effective than a guardian with full ascended but clerics gear only.

gearsscore/inspect? no!
way to check skill/experience? yes please ! can be hard to earn titles or tonics, whatever. just unavailable to dungeon buyers.

You can still make your own lfg. But that would be like crazy, right?
Also it could separate people who ask for exotic berserkers from the actual toxic people who think ascended is better no matter the stats.

They still won’t let you in. Now you just won’t get the option to deceive them or waste their time. It would really only hurt players who try to worm their way into skilled groups and be carried.

If you’re a person with some integrity, it shouldn’t really affect you. The people that allow and don’t mind a friendly low lv in their group now, will still allow it then.

You could just make a new group which doesn’t demand full zerker.

I used gearscore just as a reference inspect is what I really mean and the problem is looking for a group asking for things like dungeon master titles would take way too long I want a way to check the players in my group. Yes gear doesn’t always = skill but its an okay way to filter players. And for the record I don’t just run speed clear elitist groups but when i’m doing my daily’s i’d like to reduce the headache that is new players.

A tool would be better adding too many titles ruins the point of them. And yes I agree it is but hey at least you know they did it. Probably.

Creating “gearscore” in WoW totally broke the game experience. Not to mention people were just fooling it thus equipping most useless items just to raise the score.

wouldnt change a thing….thanks to sellers and crap players that buy from them.
also bad players can be carried over whole run and complete it without buying. happens in lfg often. often if i request kicking some 10k achi staff guardian/necro/mesmer, im getting kicked for beeing toxic. sometimes even insulted for elitism. and thats if i make lfg with ‘zerker rush’ or ‘zerker only’ etc

Sadly not enough.

There are no real in game checks the only for sure one is pinging which no one likes especially when the fix is so easy (inspect option). The only actual tool GW2 gives for player filtering is adverts which I’m not saying is unwanted but it just isn’t enough. And again I only used Gearscore as an example this thread is about in game player filtering tools.
