Guaranteed Blue Skins at Aetherpath
Its like saying a Ferrari or a clock from Rolex in real life has no prestige.
They don’t. If you see a Rolex on a hand of a homeless bum, you won’t think “whoa, that bum must be extraordinary”. You’d either not even notice, or at best think he’d stolen it from someone.
Both the car and the watch are a mark of prestige, but prestige comes from the person that owns them, and not from the item itself. And you get that prestige by means other than getting that stuff and showing it off.

If someone manages to steal a Ferrari or Rolex and gets away with it I would say that is good for him and it in no way reduces the value or rarity of said Ferrari or Rolex.
And I dont think there are any sane homeless people with a Rolex or Ferrari, but if there are that is their lifestyle choice and in no way reduces the value of said items.

Also those legendary skins are over 3 years old now. Of course many people got them by now since there is no alternative to those if you want a legendary.
Yeah but dude the difference is that a Ferrari costs you several thousands of dollars and 300g cost you 20.
Wow, such prestige.

Ah, but you weren’t talking about value, but prestige. A Rolex on the hand of a homeless man has none.

The only people affected by this change are those who wear the skin, flippers, and lucky people. So essentially the 1%. There is absolutely nothing unhealthy about this change for the game, and “prestige” is ridiculous. If you only wear the most expensive skins that’s fine. That’s your end game, but you can’t reasonably argue that fulfilling a popular request was aimed specifically to devalue your skins.
However, this came with revitalizing dungeons a bit, and it was very well received. I’m pretty positive they noticed the market of this skin afterwards, and they might just go to the next most expensive ""prestigious"" skin and balance the accessibility of it. The most expensive skins in the game not being a legendary or having adequate reason to be, simply shouldn’t be.
Accessibility is da bomb!
Side note: I’m of course all for other skins becoming harder to get as well. That is also apart of balancing accessibility. If there is a reason something should be rare, it should of course be rare. Blue versions of existing skins on arguably the hardest dungeon path should be accessible to the people who are coming there for them. They deserve it.
