Guardian or Warrior?
Elementalist is actually the best class that can use Hammer.

Aside from uber lightning hammer elementalists; for dungeons, the guardian hammer is far superior. Warriors have the edge with the GS though.

Is it a slight edge for the GS? Just curious because I’m about to craft an ascended hammer and GS and I want to choose the best class for them, especially in dungeons.
Follow up question, zerker or Knights?
Hammer is suboptimal in pretty much every case except trololol LH ele
The only time I’d prefer a hammer is guardian in fractals but it’s not even necessary, just allows you to carry your team a bit.
I don’t care so much about being optimal, I just want a hammer, specifically an ascended one. I love the way it looks.
Go zerker or go home IMO. Also, the weapon you should choose really depends on your build and how much you play of each class. For example, I run a hammer and sword/focus build and only swap out the latter to GS when I need the group pull. On my warrior, however, I run Axe/Mace and GS. Therefore, for me, I would go hammer on guardian, and GS on warrior.
So if you personally play both equally, then I say hammer for guard, and GS for warrior. Otherwise, both for guard would be fine if you run a hammer/GS build.
@Broadicea, while hammer is suboptimal to a sword/focus and GS setup, I think it has its place for those who PuG often.

+1
Hammer users:
-Warriors
-Guardians
Only the latter have a skill set even remotely useful in DGs.
Unless you’re counting a Elementalist swinging a fake Mjolnir “hammer user”.
Most used: Guard/Mes/War/Nec/Ele.
Yes, i use 5 chars at time. Because REASONS.
Thanks for the advice!
