Hey, earlier today I made a post, which probably offended a lot of ye.
Now I’m going to make a guide now that my message has been send and probably burned on its path to ashes.

For now I’ll start with Ascalonian Catacombs, do help me if I fail with some of my information.

Ascalonian Catacombs

first we have the story mode.

Story mode starts with a cinematic which I won’t explain or spoil.

you’ll enter a closed off room, with a door you need to open by checking the coffers laying around, elite mobs will spawn when you open them usually- sometimes small spiders spawn, or some trap triggers.

after some coffers you’ll face a champion called: gate Guard Nappa.
He is a melee type champion, which mainly does some great damage with his hammer, and sometimes makes a jump which can send you flying.

Now to encounter our dear Nappa, a good way is possibly to kite him while you damage him from afar, of course he’ll follow you, and immobilize is always a good way to keep him away.

After you’ll enter a small room with chains, which you pull to disable some traps that are marked by red circles on the ground. Two ghosts will spawn which you kill how you now please, afterwards some more ghosts spawn which you kill of course. you’ll enter a small room by then, where a a gate some is closed, which is opened by a nearby rock in the ground, you’ll want to get a rock from the stairs, where two-three mobs will wait as markers, as you get up there a trap wired room appears, where you have to reach to chains to disable them- a ranger champion mob will spawn which you melee down till it is dead. There will be some rocks laying around, which you pick one of and go down to place on the rock panel, the gate is now open and you can walk into the room filled with fire spitting gargoyles I advice you to simply-run through and dodge the fire.

-> To be continued for now.

Second the gw2dungeons.net. It’s bookmarked and I have completed dungeons with all newbies using it.

Youtube videos: DnT has the best imo, and joining a guild.. yes.

Third the gw2dungeons.net. I just wish it had a section for meta builds like in http://gwpvx.gamepedia.com/PvX_wiki . It helps for a quicky search and I don’t have to necro the guides in the forum or stalk everyone’s sig.

I’m sure that can be sorted out. I’ll see what can be done.

I’m glad it reaches you, at least
I really love PvX_wiki, especially for the team builds. That is one of a few unofficial websites popular with many GW1 players. I remember many Mount Qinkai Speed Clear LFG simply stated Beach Smite, Beach Tank, Yeti Smite, etc. and the players who answered the call knew perfectly what gears and skills to bring, save the hassles of filtering the LFG. It would be nice to see such awareness in GW2 as well.

One down side is it restricts to only certain classes in a speed clear build. But if they are good, everyone should try and decides for themselves whether they want to follow the meta or not.
