Guild Wars 2 dungeons is like playing Dark Souls
Funny you should mention Dark Souls, because that and Guild Wars 2 are the two games I’m playing at the moment.
Anyways, I disagree. While Dark Souls can be very difficult, I don’t find it to be anywhere near as cheap as Guild Wars 2 dungeons.

Haha that is very true. I should have noted that Dark souls you die less than doing Guild Wars 2 dungeons.
If normal hits crush you in 2 hits, then there’s obviously a problem with you either not gearing or speccing for ANY defence or simply not reacting to it.
OR they are not “normal hits” but things you can perfectly avoid.
Did you know weakness causes 50% of hits to be glancing blows, which in turn do 50% less damage, so overall that’s 25% less damage.
Did you know that blind makes almost EVERY attack miss?
Did you know Daze interrupts attacks and roots mobs into place (not sure on the root, but still)
Did you know chill makes the cooldown on abilities go 66% slower?
Did you know you can use combofields to give buffs to your ENTIRE party? Like I don’t know, regen, might, aegis, swiftness and so on for everyone.
The list goes on..
If you just stack debuffs on a boss, instead of doing “maximum dps for shorter fights” and help your team out with buffs, then the fights are perfectly doable as long as you time your dodges etc right.
