How about a hard mode ala GW1 for dungeons? But make it HARD, like Jon mentioned before, be completely unpuggable. Go full blown masochist and unforgivable for doing mistakes. Because as of now, i had no troubling pugging every dungeon with exception of CoE and Arah.

But i’m not talking about just a stats upgrade. A overhaul of all bosses with new attacks and anti zerg mechanics. Another arah with bone walls and respawning enemies on minefield camps, more bosses like Subject alpha that needs you to keep on your toe.

One example is Kholer from AC: Remove his glowing mechanic for his spinning attack and add ghostly sparks that will drop all over the place chilling foes for 10s. People will forced to pay attention to his animation and dodge at right time. Add a spirit wall to his arena to force the party to fight him there with his minions. Instead of just leashing everything.

For all the trouble, up the rewards, give us a chance of getting precursors on the chests. I’m not asking for a 10% but something reasonable and above 0,01%.

Good idea.

I would love a hardcore mode option, that would be so awesome for end game hardcore pve fans.

A mode where you really need a lot of skill and top gear to do be able to complete.

I would love to see this.

Guess this has been suggested by quite a few players already, but yeah, it’d be darn good to have something like that. At the moment the only EM dungeon that I find hard (and that’s only because of it’s length) is Arah. Some story modes are actually way harder than the explorable modes of those dungeons, which is a bit weird.

Wonder if we’ll get anything similar to this in the upcoming mystical November Update.
