I really don’t like the idea of “lets make boss harder so make is more and more and more HP.”……
I really want to see some one or some team to evaluate their boss fight design in front of crowd on Stream. Its really been badly design for years, don’t they/he/she even realize they are the main people to kicking players out of this game.
We have wonderful dungeons before, and now people don’t even want to go back. Its any one ever thought about why is it happened? and make it better?

Sometimes, I am devastating by those abandon content. Maybe soon or later they will just abandon whole game, because they’re never going to think how to improve the quality not quantity. GW2 has begin a number chasing track Mastery, DPS, Attributes and equipments, isn’t just like other games.

There is nothing wrong to make more contents in same difficulty, isnt it?
What is the point to rise more difficulties that makes new come players harder to play with?
The higher you make -> the harder to adjust -> the longer you take -> the more people will gone.

Already, the raid is been very bad. Players are struggling to get fit into requirements for it to get more adventures. Poor boss design and the only solution is getting DPS high enough to overcome.

The only place to acquire some rare state of items or gears. Such as accessories and back items with new state. Who though is a good idea, to put a viper’s amulet at the end of kittenty buggy boss fight. Extreme mode really is kittenty and buggy, literally.

A lot of design on system or being fair to majority players are rip the gap between hardcore players and intermediate(or even lower) players.
GW2 was special because it wasn’t follow any track like other MMORPG games. Now it’s following many dying games, like World of Warcraft.
If Arenanet wants player to feel the way as WoW, why not just play WoW. They have more contents also much famous, any reason to play a copycat’s game isnt it?

I am tired, and exhaust on being worried something I should not. Maybe I am just not good for this game. A lot of players don’t even get on this forum before. If developers only take suggestions here. It might somehow creates a cycle that game developers made were only fit for those old hardcore players who also use this forum.
In the end developers only saved the elders by growing a continues hall. But new comers never have the strength to climb up.
Will just like what WoW did, players have pay to reach the side of top hall. And those they paid to skip was meant be play.

While I agree that HP sponge aren’t harder or more fun by any mean, a boss need at least a good pool of HP for it’s mechanic to even matter.

Lots of the dungeon/Fractals bosses have mechanics to them which are ignored because of how fast they go down (not anymore with 80+ fotm)

Also, a boss that take 20 seconds is not punishing if you die, which if you wipe at 5 minutes into a fight, it sucks to redo. This is why wiping in dungeon never mattered, you can just rush straight back, and you barely lost a minute.

And the truth is, I have never seen a group fail any of the Raid bosses because of the bosses HP. They don’t have enough damage because they fail the mechanics or go down to avoidable damage.

Gorseval is a good example, people get the damage debuff, fail to kill the adds (gorseval gets damage boost) die to retal, get egg’ed or get smashed. In the end you’ll be lacking DPS, but it’s not because of the HP pool, but rather because people failed mechanics.
