Having trouble finding dungeon groups
have you tried gw2lfg.com? its like the third party group finder everyone uses, you should finda group there fairly easily.
I have the same issue. gw2lfg favours speed run/exp groups and usually is flooded with people wanting to do CoF P1.
SkyChef attempted and advertised a guild-list here of people willing to do Dungeons the way we can only assume they were meant to be done…. but there were almost no takers which suggests that all those people who should have been candidates for it, gave up long ago…. gave up on what I’m not sure… I guess waiting for Anet to reward players for how MUCH content they complete?, versus how much the rest of us bypass, portal, or stack & faceroll?
Generally I gotta say I really prefer the teams I find on LFGcom tho… atleast when compared to some of the ones I’ve joined in L.A. in my home server**. They hardly ever wipe and don’t seem to get downed nearly as often which implies they’re not all Zerkers … but are more balanced. Plus…you CAN filter out the COF’ers =P
**Crystal Desert, which has really been on a consistently depressing decline since its one single month of almost-glory right after launch. (I wish there was some way to improve it, but it’s just way too “pubby” of a realm for it’s own good and I’m transferring off it really soon).

I use the filter system of the web site, so I can only focus on the dungeons I want to embark on, such as the Crucible of Eternity or Arah. Honestly, this works well, even though there are only 2-3 valid announces posted at the same time.
As for the run/exp groups, I’d have to agree there. I don’t mind that though, because I just love when the run goes smoothly, but I believe that if you explain your motives in the announce (e.g. “extended run”, “newcomers welcome”, “some patient mentor would be appreciated”…), then you can find the kind of group you’re looking for.
Sometimes, even though I’m now experienced, I do join these groups, just to help people get through the dungeon, as I’ve been helped myself a lot in the past.
This game is called guild wars. Hence, find a nice guild. I never have all these PUG-Problems i read in this forums all about.
‘would of been’ —> wrong
gw2lfg.com has everything you need. Never have trouble finding a group or just filling out an existing party. Have gotten some kittens join, but generally there’s always someone else looking to do what you are on there. And if there isn’t, post an lfg yourself and I can pretty much guarantee you’ll find somone.
If you have specific requirements, state it in the post.
