Help me decide a class for my pve
Basically, all those classes except for necro are really good.
You don’t have to stick to 1 class tho, I main warrior but I also play ele and thief quite often.
Just play what you love most
My opinion is regarding fractals:
- Necro is the simplest to play well. It’s really hard not to play a zerker build. You have good damage and sustain.
- Warrior is the class you should play if the group doesn’t have one already. It is also very simple to play well.
- Guard and ele take more effort to learn but are strong classes that can carry your group.
- Thief is excellent in a good group, but very frustrating when support is lacking.

we have a perma warrior he is our phalanx warrior but only switches when we have another ps or straight 3 warriors we usually have 3 randoms and sometimes a mesmer
The DPS warrior (not the EA/PS one) is also nice to play.

Gear up all your classes and play whatever your party requires
Just a fyi, you can get 60 AR on trinkets alone without too high of an investment, this lets you swap them around to different characters only needing 10 more AR from other gear/weapons. It’s how I’ve jumped to all my alts whenever I feel like it. My regular chars get full 70 kitten ts, my alts use the trinkets and get weapons.
Other than that I think Iris’s summary is perfect.
For someone just starting, I have rank 26 from previous play for two years ago (?) and how can I easily equip AR infusions, are there +10 AR ones i buy from TP? When I played back then it was all about the +5
I used to be a power ranger, now not sure anymore

The +10s are made by fusing together lower ones. Two +1 infusions = a +2, then two +2s will make a +3 then two +3s to make a +4. So you can see how quickly this is going to add up. Since you need four +1s to make a +3 you would need eight for a +4 etc. That is why those higher ones are so expensive.
to Equip AR you need to have infusion slots. These can be placed in
Ascended/Legendary Weapons (Two per weapon Swap Slot)
Ascended Armor – 1 Per Armor
2 per Ascended ring (if you have an Infused Ring)
2 Per back item (If you have an infused one)
1 Per accessory
1 in your necklace.
the +10s are nice, but not needed if you are fully ascended. This could change.
Currently I have 75 AR from just +5 Versatile Infusions, (Although +80 would be possible I have a utility infusion in my necklace). With the Fractals update we might need more. So its something to think about depending on how high you want to climb in fractals.
