Pretty new to the game and I’m playing from South Korea with an average of 200ms latency steady. I’ve leveled a Revenant and a Guardian to about 15 and like both of them pretty evenly but want to settle on one of them to level to max:

Between Revenant and Guardian; which would you say is the more ‘high latency’ friendly profession for Dungeons, Fractals, and Raids?

dungeon & fractals. any profession is fine.. pretty much easy run with eye shut or you can play multi tasking.
with raids, 200ping u can dodge boss attack alright. .. I have 400ping at best harder to time some attacks

PS warrior is easiest.

Rev would be next best for lag since your rotation isn’t too complicated.

^ for raids – for dps race, every dps count .. hence if cant dodge kd.. it will be lost of dps overtime

200 ms is fine for raiding/dungeons/fotm.
I would go with the REV > Guardian.

The REV is much easier to learn and once you’ve learnt every boss tell you could then move over to Guardian.

For high ping against Gorseval , cond builds is the best imo, since even if you fail to dodge the KD attack, your DPS will keep quite stable , but a power build will have the DPS drop to 0 while you are knocked down.
Against the other 2 bosses go for anything, there are nothing that rely in such fast responses.

I am on average of 200ms too. All classes work great on all pve content (fractals and raid included). You just gotta, SOMETIMES, go “1…2… instead of 1..2..3” (COE alpha as example) if you catch the drift
Its pvp where the “rubberbanding” gets crazy.

Necromancer has easy rotations and survives really well even if the player has slow reaction time.

SEA/OCE player too, eh? I’ve found that Guardians, Revenants, and Warriors are the most lag-friendly out of all the professions.
