So nice…when you cant get people for 80+lvl fractals whenever in the day you look for people on european servers. Nice job at raising fractal lvls when it wasnt needed >.>

The reason you can’t get people isn’t because of the levels or because of the servers.

It’s because what you’re looking to do is not worth doing (for the average player) for the time investment. You may want to look into joining a community specific guild that doesn’t mind not doing swamps of the mists.

77 is the highest most people will run because swap fractal is OP. Anything higher than that is either a wee wee measuring contest or back pack farming.

Lvl100 takes about 25-40 min with a decent team and rewards are pretty much on par with lvl10 duo with some extra encryptions. The reward is simply not good enough for the time spent.

Yeah the rewards are really bad, considering some fractals like 94 can be a nightmare. I wouldn’t do any of the 90+ even once now after completing the fractal master achievement

Really looking forward to a good fractal update with new fractals and some better incentives to do the really high end fractals beyond 77. The amount of time commitment to rewards given just doesn’t make enough sense.

I get sick of doing Swamp fractals too, but sometimes it’s nice having the short and simple option as well on days that one might have less free time available.

I actually really enjoyed doing the challenging fractals for elite fractal master and veteran. Im probably the only person in the world who likes high-level cliffsides. Makes me feel so useful.
I actually would not mind doing the harder fractals as daily, just to stay in shape, but waiting for a group for over an hour is not worth it.
So yeah. For now we can only hope they make both higher level and harder fractals more rewarding. Especially making fractal diversity rewarding. like a swamp specific dimishing returns. But there are some concerns about it too: if people cant kill the freakin mossman without climbing on trees, im a little worried what will happen if they try to do the harder stuff…

Also, I am a bit worried about the update. It was mentioned that the dailies would be changed to get players out of the swamps, but no mention of the base rewards. making it sound like any fractaling (this is now a word) done beyond the dailies will continue to consist mostly of people running 40 over and over.

A couple nights ago I did Cliffside 94 with a pug and finally beat it after easily 2+ hours (ofc the infamous Arm Seals being the issue).

Being a mesmer, I was trying to do the South arm seal solo using stealth. It took me a few tries to get in a rhythm, but I eventually got it done.

And so last night I saw a pug doing it and figured I’d help out since I knew how painful it was the night before.

Let’s just say they were pretty happy
