Because we clearly needed to face that atrocity of cheap gimmicks. Sad thing is, it didn’t even work that well. There still a way to handle it relatively easy from range, as long as you kill those annoying wolves first.

Good job whoever thought that copy/paste of the AC troll was a great idea, you got us to fight the stupid wolves. Well done. /sarcasm

Had to just take the only somewhat quick path in HotW and make things just a little more annoying…

There still a way to handle it relatively easy from range, as long as you kill those annoying wolves first.

Not just at range but also melee. All it takes is a bit of stability to get rid of the annoyance of those dazes and to dodge into the troll when its up in the air.

Had to just take the only somewhat quick path in HotW and make things just a little more annoying…

tbh it’s not its speed of doing that makes me only do p1, it’s the fact the other paths require underwater combat. P1 could take 5 hours to do and i’d still be more likely to do that than the others.

None of his attacks is reflectable, afaik. All are OHKO for a zerker ele.

Blinds are 10% effective and non reflectable usually means unblockable.

Meleeing him is a case of condition cleansing, stun breaks and dodge roll back then forwards when he does the big jump. Also of hoping nobody gets downed, because trying to rez is a sure fire way of getting downed yourself. I’ve always thought that HotW was the best dungeon for rangers and even though sword is a bad option here Search and Rescue is invaluable.
