What is everyone’s strategy to kill the end boss, Ginva the Butcher? My typical party usually uses something along the lines of damaging retal/prot totems down to ~10%, might stacking, finish killing totems, pull Ginva to a corner, then 4 fgs rush/whirl, but this combo typically only takes him to between 50-66% HP before he decides to go rambo on one of the eles and at that point our strategy disintegrates into pug-style range/melee swapping. Does anyone have a better way to kill this boss?

Just max melee range it with cripple spam.

If you have say rifle with piercing rounds, lead him to the protection totem always right behind the totem on it. Shoot directly thru the totem and to boss.

Lead the boss to follow you to the totem. Heres the fun i play.
>- hold a sweet spot of pulling him around the totem
>-Shoot him point blank melee range.
>-Keep the bosses. Agro
>-Party plant AoE on the totem where you have boss
Rifle will play a hold on agro and be just enough distance to avois his axe spin. Keep shooting point blank as team nuke from distance. Only works if you play the boss aroun a round the totem till he stays put point blank.
A)reduces axe spin casualties
B)funny to pull boss round the totem he cant walk over.
C)beware of bugging into a spawned totem and gettinf stuck

Keep in mind you can just get a warrior to do what the AH does in that video.

we just take down the protection totem only. ignore the others. if you are killing yourself from retaliation you need more regeneration.

just stay at range most of the time or tank melee him if your total armor is over 3500. no need to stack or trick this boss.

Roach, if you don’t kill the retaliation totem then everyone who uses fiery rush takes somewhere around 40k damage and insta-kills themselves.

Just curious, did you use reflect skills?
