in the hallway just past the ballistas on the way to the butcher, players used to could turn around and walk backwards to avoid being pulled back towards the ballistas. this has been fixed as of the June 11th patch.

not really a big deal (as it has always been a dumb game mechanic anyways), but why not include this in the patch notes and give the developers the credit for this change?

this is really getting old, please give your devs the credit they deserve for these changes. the player base would simply like to trust what is in the patch notes as being the only items included in each patch; because from the player’s perspective, that’s the point of having patch notes.

now again we’re left to wonder what else has been changed without being duly noted in the patch notes. ugh.

The real question is.. why are they wasting their time on such useless updates and changes all the time and never fix the “bugs” ? Did Cliffside the other day, one of the arm seals didn’t break and we had to wipe then come back and do it the hard way. Or how about all the random mobs that pop up in dungeons 5 minutes later if you run past them like the ones in se path 3 or in arah 2?

Why don’t they fix the stuff that I play, instead of the stuff that you play?

Edit- Regarding the OP: it’s possible that some fundamental code regarding knock-backs has been changed game-wide, and the example you gave is just the place we’re seeing it most clearly. So it was a change that altered HotW, but not a HotW change. Maybe.

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

Oh, so instead of “stuff I/you play” I should have put in “bugs that bother me/you”?

I just don’t take kindly to someone saying an update was a waste of time, or useless. Maybe something else should have been higher priority, since this particular issue didn’t really hurt a group’s ability to finish the dungeon, but a fix is still progress. Insulting a fix because it’s not a fix for the issue you wanted is just rude.

Edit: I came back six hours later, to find the post below me containing such gems as “If you don’t think that then suck it up princess” and “its clear that dungeons are not what you do with your time on gw2.” Plus the conclusion of “It’s just your opinion”. So for anyone else reading: see you somewhere else, because I am not bumping this atrocity back to the front.

But that “fix” isn’t progress at all, they are completely ignoring the main issues with dungeon’s/fractals. Please stop commenting in the dungeon section because its pretty clear that dungeons are not what you do with your time on gw2.

I’m saying its a waste of time to fix something like that and not look into the bugs in dungeons because I personally feel like it is. If you don’t like that I think that way then suck it up princess.

I told them months ago that you can use a sigil of generosity in SE path 3 on one of the champion bosses and transfer one of its attacks as if it were a condition and do 20k condition ticks on the boss and it still works.

They have forgot/abandoned the dungeons almost completely and the things they do change are always useless changes like random walls and dumb terrain changes. This is my personal opinion, your entitled to your own but just because mine is different doesn’t make it wrong.
